Make sure the ones you listen to are dp only. IMO it doesn't seem loud. Maybe someone has a link to a good dp only vid

I know thats a funny statement but I did ask the question...so i dont want him to take all the humiliation =). I just wanted to know because cobb is suppose to run a little more aggressive with the tune so i figured with dinan being so conservative...even with dps and intercooler with the s3 tune figured it might be a close fight. dinan s3 suppose to have 400hp 440 torque while cobb bone stock is suppose to gain 80 whp and 110 wtq...something close to that. with those numbers its very close if you ask me cause if you calculate whp and wtq with dinans crank numbers comes out pretty close.

dude, OF COURSE it's going to sound different !!!!!

you'll be getting a 3" freakin downpipe, and you're probably going to get it catless !!!!

you think the air is magically going to flow through it just as quietly or exactly the same as stock !?!?

a JB4 car pick up, what, 50-60whp with no intakes, dp's or fmic...........

the DinanS3, regardless of it being so "conservative", should be making close to 80whp (should be a lot more, hence conservative)

DS3 shouldn't be losing to JB4 only cars....

assuming the JB4 users sets his boost controller on the proper settings and doesnt push it too much for the sake of a win or decides to run race gas, then all bets are off.

i would agree with that.

if he just runs Map 1 on pump gas (i'm assuming the S3 would be pump gas also), i still say the S3 is making more power than the JB4 only car.

what do you think ?? DS3 vs JB4 only

DS3 should win in a straight line for a little while, on a track I just dont know, the DS3 might decay boost so much its like stock yet still be a better suited car w the additional upgrades.

......and that's my reasoning behind saying what i said.

even IF the D3 is conservative, i STILL think it is making more power due to the other boltons.

oh well, i guess we can wait and see

True but most people out there don't car about their engine and care about 1/4 times and they both run the same times with the JB+ at 75%. Sad but true...

Lol cmmoooooooooonnnnn mmmaaaannnnn...how am I suppose to know. Like I said before this is my first time Modding...you think I'm suppose to magically know. It would make sense that it does but I wasn't 100% sure hence the question.

...and that is one of the crappiest exhaust sounds I've ever heard from a production car. It sounds like the engine is being tortured and raped and the moaning is coming out of the exhaust....

G35's sound agressive with a sexy exhaust note. freakin VQ engines from Nissan/Infinity sound great.
