I'll pay the extra $200 bucks... yes, I think we are talking about an extra $200 bucks more for a company like Vishnu to do the engineering, do the testing, do the Dyno, do the trials on other peoples cars, do the software engineering to "tune" the product to their high quality piggy, and offer free upgrades to the V5 users when new maps come out.

Like many people on this forum, and I would think the majority of users, we want to purchase PROVEN engineering with PROVEN dynos, install it once, shut the hood and go take the car for a rip and get the full enjoyment of this car with some piece of mind that it has been tested, supported and enhanced for the future.

What i think is most funny about this whole meth situation , is that Terry states that its all marketing propaganda from Shiv , yet he uses Shiv's marketing and is already building his own under the hood meth setup. He states " since there seems to be alot of demand for a quick uninstall meth kit lately " , yeah right thanks to Shiv's marketing aproach.

Well done clap.

Check out n54 for a quick video and description of what aquamist failed to mention in their comparison video. Funny it seems like I sparked the attention of a.couple meth kit makers and one the standard ones are showing proof....makes you wonder why that is.

Well done, theres nothing left to argue anymore. But im sure some of the people who feel they have to defend Shiv at all times will continue.

Well then if he started months ago , why is he still messing with fabricating a stupid 10$ bracket? Or just took a glimps under his hood this week to see where he could mount his pump. Good progress for many months of work i would say...

Same can be said for the people who feel the need to bash Shiv at all times , they won't stop either.

Maybe he was busy and just got to it. Sorry I dont follow him around all day. Or maybe he wants to introduce something while the competitor introduces something to get sales? Isnt that how business works? If you say no I hope you never try to start a company.

Very interesting news! Did you hear this from Cobb or off another forum?

Last I heard, Stage 2 and then custom tuning were the next items on the drawing board without any mention of meth.

I have my own business already , and yes he can do whatever he want , but he did it like i said. Using the marketing of the competition to introduce your product , all fine to me , but then he should not start bitching about the way Shiv markets his products. He should STFU and be thankfull for opening the market to meth kits a litlle more.

I dont really think he should STFU. I know I wouldn't if I were him, I would want sales, so I would speak. No point in arguing about this really. Its up to us to decide which kit we choose. If you want to pay a lot for a meth kit, fine by me.

Anyone willing to pick one of these up and log the 0-5v signal post valve/noid for response time?

http://www.omega.com/ppt/pptsc.asp?r...-5V&Nav=preb03
PX309-300G5V should do the trick, <1ms response time, up to 300psig.

LoL. The Kit BMS offers sells quite well and needs no marketing from others.

From Cobb.

IMO, they have done some pretty advance testing on stage 2 (aftermarket exhaust) and stage 2 + FMIC testing, but are holding off on updates as many members arent to nice when release dates aren't met. But, I wouldnt expect meth maps any time soon. Again, this is just my opinion and is not based on any information from cobb.

I did find this post by rob that wasnt specific to the aquamist kit, so the info I got might have been a little off.

The guy I spoke to at COBB said that they weren't planning to support meth because of a lack of interest from potential customers.

He said the amount of people who would run meth on the COBB setup wouldn't cover the R

Wish we could get a straight answer on this... find it hard to believe they wouldn't have the interest, but maybe it's a reflection of their customer base: people who resort to software tuning rather than messing in the engine bay.

once atr comes out there will be no need for a off the shelf meth map. u can fine tune for it yourself or get a protune. i think stage 2 maps for fmic, exhaust, intake would be more than most people need anyhow. if you want more power then a custom tune is where it's at
