Test results were 100%. I'll be posted logs later this weekend once i get caught up with other business. Didn't compare them to 3-30 maps since 3-30 maps didn't have PWM meth control. Still want to test another feature which we didn't get to test on the track. I'll probably spend the weekend doing that while we get some more PWM meth kits on the road (sappersix, you're next!)

Sweeeet... Shiv, let me know if you need a hand (with install or filming install HOWTOs). I have prior commitments all day Sat and Sun morning, but I can come over around mid-afternoon on Sunday. (Or hopefully you'll be done by then...)

Just arrived in Santa Monica. Car was absolutely flawless for over 400 miles. Raging meth all the way through the grapevine. Went through a tank on the way down but got countless pulls. Seemed like it lasted forever. Need to find me some meth for my return voyage on Sunday. I can't possibly survive with out meth anymore. I'm addicted to meth!!!!

Not a single cruise control problem anymore guys!

The first test day of hard freeway driving results look great. I will be posting a full detailed review when I return. So far it has been amazing none the less.

Good to hear the track day went great too. Shiv looks like you have got yourself a winner!!!

Shiv,

I think this has been brought up before, but any thoughts about increasing water pump speed like Dinan? the crazy guy who wants to put JB4 on top of his Dinan tune made me think of it.

I would find that hugely valuable if it helps keep temps down a bit. I'd take a cool motor over hot DIC any day

+1, plus Shiv has said many times that he recommended switching to DIC over the 12-17 production maps. My point is, if the best tuning (core busines) isn't ready for production, why focus on new periferal business before the cores stuff is rock solid?

I guess the question that I'm looking to have answered is:

What about those that have the previous progressive kits? Are they still supported with firmware and maps? Or are they left out in the cold?

Ok, cool, so no logic changes or other craziness? No wiring changes? I know its off topic, but I've been deployed and am WAY behind the power curve.

There is nothing about the DIC maps that would make your gas mileage worse than non DIC maps. In fact, the opposite is more likely to be the case.

Also, an FBO running the brand new (3 day old) BMW dme software was dropped off yesterday. Which means a 6at version of the new map will be coming soon as well.

So, i guess this map is only for 6MT with meth installed? I'm confused as we have many beta maps now.

many beta maps? The latest beta is the 3-30 available for download on their site.
the 5-10 is the newest beta with integration of PWM meth but its just an "addition" to the firmware you can use the same maps without meth .
