I have been ordering from getbmwparts.com for at least 3 years, I live in Mexico and I still order from them and go pick up the parts in the US because it's even cheaper for me to do that, than buy them at any dealership, and also because of they have a better inventory.

I really need a new steering wheel and a tri-stitched M sport wheel for my E46 is my dream so I hope I get it!!

These guys did a great job helping me choose the correct iPod USB adapter kit. They knew exactly what I needed based on the VIN and factory options (Logic 7, BMW assist, etc). I would have definitely ordered the wrong kit without their help.

Every experience I've had with Tischer has been first rate. I always recommend them to new owners on the other "less connected" BMW boards.

A while back I ordered a few oil filters for our 328i, and I didn't know if they came with the crush washers or not, so I ordered 3-4 crush washers too (can't remember the exact count.) The order arrived and the extra washers that I ordered were missing from it, but the oil filters did include an oring and a crush washer in the package.

I contacted them back to ask whether these packaged washers were what I ordered. The only reason I contacted them was that I was surprised that any seller would put the washers in the packaging and reseal it. They said that obviously these were the washers that came with the filter from the manufacturer, and that they had probably missed the extra ordered washers or the extra washers had fallen off of the shipping box or ... They offered to send me the washers, and I simply asked them to forget about it, as I had the washers I needed. It was only a buck or so anyway, and I had already saved a ton on the filters and other parts that I had in that order. They responded by giving me a code for a free shipping for the next order I put in, which I never used, simply because it wouldn't have been fair to them. (again the cost of the washers was like a buck or two, nothing to fret about.)

But the fact that they went out of their way to make sure I was happy, and offer a huge discount (free shipping) for a $1 worth of mistake in an order, says a lot about what a nice bunch of people they are.
