Keep an eye out for cold start/warming up driving quirks. Happen to me 2-3 times where the car felt jerky as i was easing out the clutch (no its not me) or another time where i was in 2nd gear at very low rpms during a cold engine trying to accelerate. Once the temps warms up the car drives normal.

About every other month I notice the cold engine/transmission jerkiness with the clutch. But I have been noticing that for the last 20k miles. Precobb and pre procede.

I agree, cold jerkiness has happened to me stock, SSTT, and COBB. I have the modified CDV as well.

+1, definitely hearing more exhaust noises on my 135i on the 3.00 map w/ Berk Tech exhaust and AR downpipes.

The V300 cold start 6MT driving jerkiness is def. there. I can pretty much reproduce it every time i drive my car until it warms up. I think Rob is already aware of this when i emailed him. This never happened with the older versions.

THIS!

Ever since I updated: jerkiness at WOT at 3800RPMS and cold starts seem like my HPFP is failing. Is this what you are speaking of?

Two new codes since the update:
P3100: I think this is LIMP
P2A82: I need help with this one. anyone please?

3100 is a generic limp mode code.

The 2A82 is VANOS code. You probably need to replace the VANOS solenoid. $100 part and a 20 min fix. Don't pay the dealer for that one.

Not with this update. I believe Cobb stated it will be released with the Stage 2 maps.

I went back down to v203 and the weird cold start driving jerkiness is all gone. Strange thing is that I noticed the older map the car has a nicer deeper exhaust tone with my RPI exhaust.

@Cobb

How does your AP handle the overboost feature ?

My concern, I just purchased a 355is shipped, if the Cobb AP increases boost lvls to 13/14 PSI and when overboost is engaged at LC how does the OB give a target if the the target is already at 14 PSI ?

Can I use the 203 maps with the latest beta AP firmware?

Being that the 300 maps have known issues I'd rather not beta test at this time. I would be more than willing to beta test a Stage 2 map though

So since the 1M, to my knowledge, is pretty much the same engine as the IS I'm assuming the overboost is also removed from the 1M?

I'm still waiting on word if the 1M can run the current offering from Cobb or if it needs it's own specific software?

If i remember correctly Cobb said you can not use the beta firmware with the older pre v300 maps.

V203 maps feels the best to me and i'm curious to hear your impressions of the Cobb tune vs the piggys.
