Hi Eyadeo, about your soundless issue, please kindly check as follows:

1. Please make sure if you have connected the speakers wires correctly. You can refer to the 3rd page Notes of installation, see how to connect speakers.

2. Please make sure the unit is not in MUTE mode.

If you use the RCA outputs to connect to external amplifier firstly, then connect the amp to the speakers, pls make sure if the external amp is OK itself, and if the wiring between our unit and the amp is correct. And pls adjust the volume to the maximum too.

If you have an external amp, please check if the auto antenna of our unit has been connected to the amp control of your amp.

Hi guys, first hand news! Glad to tell you we have confirmed more details about the future new upgraded D5114C head unit for BMW E9*.
Since it will be upgraded with dual can bus system, so that more features are enabled as follows:

1. Heated Seat Control Compatible, control button & display functions are added.
2. Radar ON/OFF function.
3. Electric curtain ON/OFF function

Hi Carlos, the D5114C unit can't support the HDC function, but can support heated seat, parking sensor, rear sun shade function. Still quite good!

Many thanks for sharing your knowledge john, but I've consulted our tech about your solution just now, it's not applicable. Since our unit doesn't have the dual can bus system, even if you add a relocation kit, the heat seated buttons still can't be used. Hope you can understand. Thanks!

Hi, I have an 07 328i with the base stereo - no Blue Tooth, CD Changer, etc. Because my Head Unit is also connected to my dash and steering wheel, will I lose functionality after installing this unit or is this unit even compatible with my vehicle?

My dash is the same minus the seat heater buttons. Yes, my radio controls my dash. Not sure about a bus system.

This is what I'm working with. I understand that your system may be "plug and play" but I want to make sure, before purchasing, that this isn't going to keep my dash/cluster gauge from operating normally.

Does this stereo need to be setup at the BMW dealer so they can reprogram anything?

About the can bus system, if you're not sure, you can check with your car provider directly, ask him if your car has can bus, and if the can bus is the same with E90/E92. Thanks!

If totally the same, then you won't need reprogram anything on it.

Sorry, I'm new to the world of bimmers however, I have now learned the differences between e90/91/92/93 and I can tell you that I have an E90.

As for the CANBUS, I have no clue. I have to go to the dealer to get a new battery and my vehicle programmed so I will find out then.

Where would the heated seat button be mounted at? Do you have a picture of the unit and the heated seat mounted? Or is the heated seat is being control within the unit menu?
