Not off to a good start today.

Me + Guard rail = Front end smashed, 2 airbags deployed.

Only left with a hurt ego, but this sucks. Im hoping they total the car. Pics soon.

What happened? Multi-car or just you and rail?

JUst me luckily.

Heading down 15 south, took the 5N onramp, on the turn the back end swung out and couldnt regain control.

Hit the guardrail driver side light first, and kind of slid along the rail. Luckily i wasnt going fast and hit at an angle and not head on.

Car is going to get picked up for an inspection. USAA wants to appraise it since 2 airbags deployed. So im waiting on a call for when they will do that.

I hope they total it since im not a fan of front end repairs....they never turn out right. Plus the cost of airbags is pretty high.

Usaa are good folks, you can dialog with the damage adjuster about any concerns.

It could take a few days, plus your body probably got some lateral torquing with the way the impact occurred

Update:

Car is repairable. But will probably part it out and trade her in. More to follow
