Gotta be the 4 series, in some sort of M-Sport trim. The new 3 series was revealed almost a year ago already, should be time for the 2 door.

That's a 1M (F20).

Also, you can notice the fender line being evident (and identical) on both the white "secret" car, as well as this Estoril Blue one. Hence, we can exclude possible X4's, 1-series' and Z4M's.

Still in doubt?

I found some spy-vids of the F32 on Youtube. The camo seems to be outwards bending just by the spot where this secret car shows an air-inlet/curtain.

The first picture shows one of the test cars on the Nrburgring.

This second picture shows another car, with the exact same outward-bend in that exact same spot.

And the left side..

As can be seen by the registration plate, the pictures are showing two different cars. I'm sure this is the new F32. So stoked! However, I'm confident it will first be presented in Concept form, just like the new 6-coupe was released. On another note, it could also very well be the new F34 GC or F36 GT - although this does not seem in line with the release schedule of the coming cars.
Nailed it.

The fender crease is from an F20.

I'm with those guessing it's the 4-series concept debut. (I wish it were the new M3 Sedan).

There is a distinct body line starting under the bimmerpost logo in the picture as well, which looks very much in line with the f30, so I would have to guess the new 4 series along with most everyone else. This line is much higher on the F20.

Would love to see it be the 4 series.

No matter what car it is, i'm pretty sure some people are laughing at reading comments in this thread ...

since the wheels are obvious F30 ... i will go with new 3series GT ... (since the new era hint)

What else?

To they that know:

Will we get more than a model name tomorrow? Perhaps production dates, etc?

Still sticking with i3

There's no cross drilled rotors or blue calipers, so there goes the ///M theory.

The third clue from Scott, which he said something about having an open mind, just makes me believe it's something different from any traditional BMW

I guess we'll find out soon enough!

You are correct, stand corrected.

The fender itself is new to accomodate that tacked on vent, the crease is in line with the top of the tire (I missed that, the F20 crease is way above the top of the tire) but the crease itself is deeper than in the F30 -unless there is a photo-induced shadow making the crease to look deeper.

I think that this is the F30 GT -not the F32 Grand Coupe.

Great first post!

I hope there is a prize, you've earned it!! I think your analysis is spot on.

It is the 3 GT. It's got that molding right behind the front fender. And a character line like that in the 5 GT starts from behind that molding and reaches the middle of the rear door.

I think your argument is invalid because the 3 series GT has the same openings on its camo.

subscribed....

My guess is the i3 or the Concept Active Tourer (FWD 1 series). However, the i3 has been declared by BMW as an upcoming 2014 model, so we should expect to see it soon with a April-July release date.
