Thanks! Yes it's a show car, in that it goes to car shows, but it also gets driven every day through the summer months. The car get's it's fair share of track abuse too, but at the end of the day... it's just a medium price point street car like every other e90. Having larger turbos and loads of methanol pumping through it is just an added bonus.

Thanks for the feedback, I know what you mean about the wheels being on the small side, but we didn't want to do a 19x12.5" rear because the rear wouldn't be able to sit low enough to the ground for our liking.

Im in the same boat. I dont think I ever dealt with you directly, but I ordered some parts from Bagriders and had a bagged mkv gti that I just sold for an e92. So this thread feels like home. Last edited by 2010MSPORT335i; 03-13-2013 at 02:07 PM.. |

At first we had a hard time compensating for the high rear spring rate, but our second gen rear kit seems to have taken care of that. |

As for the turbos, I posted them up on the 1st page. They're hybrids like the RBs but made by a bigger company. |

Cool Project OP! The air suspension is interesting, do you think you could post a few pics of the car showing the ride height from the side? i'm very curious to see how high/low it will go. guess others are too
if its not too much to ask

Sure thing, I will dig up some photos for you showing the aligned ride height preset and how much overall travel the system has.

True, but with threaded strut length, you no longer have to ride at a higher height to have a firm spring rate. You can thread the bodies down to be a little shorter and bump up the spring rate as needed.

I'm just an old man I think I drove the damn thing at stock height more than anything. Well aside from when it was laying frame and parked
