Bump. This was an important one. Guys before you boost like crazy, you need to know what the engine will handle reliably before you start popping motors or trannies. On my IS300, the piston rings were notorious for cracking above 400 rwhp. Some of the manual transmissions would handle 400 rwtq, and others would fall at 350 rwtq. Auto's would handle substantially more, but needed valve body upgrades. This is all hugely important if you don't want to trash a $45k vehicle. |

I understand your comment, but what I am speaking about is irrelevant of the vehicle type. I am talking about the limits of the motor and limits of the transmission. Whether it is a supra or a focus, there are limits to what you can do to the engine before things like rods, pistons, rings/landings, transmissions, rear ends, etc. blow.
No one may know the exact amount, but someone has to have looked in this motor and have an idea. Are the pistons cast or forged? Is this tranny used in another car? If so, have the popped above a certain hp? etc. |

he didn't specify. But by the way he worded it, it sounded like 450RWHP.
he usually post the mods to his shop car and i have not seen anything about an aftermarket clutch, he does have an LSD though (Quaife). and of course the Vishnu Exhaust.

I think all you procede guys are nuts, I just reinstalled my tt today and I almost crapped my pants. Procede v1 is 30whp and 40wtq more than my turbo tuner and you guys want another 40whp ontop of that!!!? Your cars are already 4.3 - 4.5 .0-60 mph .
what do you people want 3.8 0-60? ![]() ![]() ![]()
