Thanks, looking forward to the additional spec, hopefully also got the Complimentary lighting upgrade. Ordered mine in Black so the first thing will be Matte Black Grilles.

I went for gloss to match the Shadowline trim but I'd be interested to see matte.

Hi folks,

I recently joined the forum after lurking for a while, I used this site as a great source of info when looking at potential cars. I now have a E90 320D and so far really like it

Cheers.

Regular on Alpina forum, but thought I'd best see what happens here, too. Long-term BMW owner (past inc E30 325i Msport, E30 320i SE and E46 320D Msport and current Mini Cooper in BRG/white) and had my E90 Alpina D3 BiTurbo for over a year now, and it's the best thing since sliced bread!

Hey guys, newbie here! I pick up a 55 plate E90 320D in Graphite on tuesday with any luck.

Already looking into changing the tailpipe as its slightly rusty and getting some kind of boot lip spoiler, any other subtle mods you can recommend? (not interested in de-badging just yet).

5 years old? That would mean being registered in June 06. The E92 was not out till Sept 2006. Although there are some "Press" & "Demo" cars from Aug 06 but they are very few and far between.

Welcome

You could get some new grills. Black ones look good on graphite & it's an easy mod

Hi all,

Been lurking for a while, but today picked up my first BMW, a silver 08 E91 335d SE.

I've only done 25 miles in it so far but very impressed and this place has been an invaluable source of information.

Only concern is coming from an Impreza STi with pretty good winter performance, so on the look out for winter wheels and tyres before they get too expensive or difficult to get.

Cheers

John

Good call on the black grilles, i had just figured id get chrome ones, but after seeing a pic on here with the black ones i love it!

Picked the car up today and theres a few things it needs doing to it so should turn into a nice little project. Some of the things include new wheels, front grille, exhaust tail pipe, smoked rear lights and a remap of some sort as turbo lag is annoying!

Hi i'm Ian from sunderland.
I'm on my second 318d, had to have a lci wish I waited and saved for a 320d as you can't re-map a lci ,without dealer knowing
ah well such is life.
Pet hate - tyre insurance, why do I have to leave the car almost a day at a dealer just to cahnge a tyre.

Newbie saying hello

Hi fellow e90 er's (apologies if this is way too uncool for you all - what is the correct term??)!!....

Just signed up and thought to make my first post...

Have bought a 320D M Sport and must say i am pleasantly surprised at how well it goes....being a traditional petrolhead and having owned a 330Ci and race bike previously, I was a bit concerned about buying a tractor - but am pleased to report that I made the right decision!

Am currently toying with the idea of upgrading the standard 17s (why anyone wouldent upgrade at new is beyond me!! ) and quite fancy either the MV3s or some LM reps...if anyone is selling such alloys please get in touch...

Whats the views on genuine vs. reps - have seen some nice LM reps on the BM Autosport site...

My 320D came with 16's - Didn't want BMW wheels so waited and fitted some BBS. Welcome to the forum.
