Oh wow, I did not know about that interview. Just watched it on their website. I have to admit, thats the first laugh I was able to get out of this entire thing. I am going to see her on Sunday for mothers day so it will be interesting to see how the hand has healed up.

I'm technically not new, I've posted in here a few times but it was a while back. I'm currently deployed and have some spare time on my hands so I decided to check back in and see what's up on the Dayton/Cincy/Columbus area. I live in Beavercreek and work at Wright-Patterson, just looking for some folks that get together, Cars and Coffee type stuff. Sucks cause by the time I get back I'm sure they will be ending for the season.

BMW Performance Exhaust
Hey guys,
Anyone in the Cincinnati area with an e90 335i and the BMW PE? Trying to decide between the BMWPE and the Vanguard exhaust. I'd love to hear it in person. My buddy has the vanguard and I like it a lot, but I'm a big fan of the popping and gurggling. Thanks! |

We had a blast today, even though the obstacles were poorly set up. Out of a dozen of so obstacles, there were big lines for two of them. Easily added 20 mins to my time on a measly 5k. Oh, and the run this year was at a ski resort in Butler. Holy crap hills! We had a muddy blast tho!

Hey, anyone recommend a good shop in central ohio to do a CDV delete? Is this easy enough for a Monroe Muffler type shop to do or should I take it to someone more qualified?

It's a fairly basic job unless you have an XI. I am not sure if a 328 even has one. Bleading it is a bitch especially if the car is a 335.

I learned this! The trick: when bleeding your clutch, make sure the brake fluid res is VERY full! There's a safety built into the brake reservoir. If your clutch system were to develop a leak, this safety will not allow the res to drain to the point where it affects your braking system. Clever, but the "full" and "low" markings are deceptive. The fluid can be in between those two markings, and be low enough to introduce air into your clutch system.

Well I'm having an interesting vacation...
Broke down on the highway on the way to DC. Got my car towed to Richmond, VA. Just found out the water pump, thermostat, and coolant reservoir all failed. Out $1300 after BMWCCA discounts. Also just found out my rear passenger wheel is cracked. They can't fix it and told me I shouldn't drive the car until it is. Now they are looking for a place to fix that as well for me. This not only cuts my vacation short, but now I'm out of time and money... Oh well... I guess it could've been worse, right? |
