Bought an AFE Stg2 sealed intake, and I'm now looking for Forge DV's. Next up is an FMIC

Prepping for a JB4 has begun.....

So much for not modding this car......*sigh*

Washed it in the rain. There is salt all over the roads in my neihborhood. I'm glad the rain cleaned the streets.

Just pretesting the nexus 7 in place of my head unit. Awaiting some cable to come in, then I will fully install it. (still waiting on my CB fabric to come in as well to get rid of the wood finish)

That looks nice. Let us know how it goes once it's installed.

How are you planning on mounting this in there? Or does it just rest inside a docking station kind of setup?

Yeah, they're from the dealer. Made by weathertech for BMW. It's nice because they come with the velcro patches on the back.

Replaced all vacuum lines except the rear wastegate, brake check, ordered front pads, tried 2 different wiper sets (Valeos), getting turbos replaced and car back today hopefully.

Then installing 3rd wiper set (Bosch AeroTwin), going to break her in, install Blackvue 650 dashcam, have them do the wastegate retrofit, alpina flash w/ custom V8Bait tables. Do some coding. Perhaps try Wedge Cobb flash. Fix rear bumper. Hardware concealed radar detector.

Then when I gets teh moni, LSD, M3 suspension bits/kit, new PSS tires (perhaps wider), slightly raise her, stiffen up KW V3s, CIC upgrade, heated/m3 steering wheel.

Then goan rape.

~$5k.

Today I did my OFHG (and therefore replaced about 1.5L of coolant), an oil + filter change, refreshed my power steering fluid, cleaned the VANOS solenoids and replaced both air filters.

Productive day!

Not sure why picture disappeared, hence re-post. Anyways, happy with install, and easy to do. And the AFE SI last week. Happy holidays!

Painted my pre-lci tails. Got instructions from a thread from a forum member on here. Used Krylon stained glass spray paint. Im very happy with the look although it did give it a VERY light smoked/tinted looked since the spray was slightly darker than the OE color of the tails. Its more noticeable in person than in the pics I think. Other than that, I can keep them around till I make a decision on what kind of tails to purchase (F10 style or blacklines)

Double checked the torque on my control arm bolts.... found the one that wasn't to spec and caused a "clunk" every once in a while.

Also replaced both H11 Fog Light bulbs.

Nice! Did you spray the outers as well? Doing that does darken them up a bit overall which is why I recommend only doing the inners. Regardless, it really cleans up the look! Nice work!

Installed a Dinan exhaust! I love how it sounds. It's deeper and more aggressive, but it's not "HEY EVERYONE! LOOK AT ME!" It sounds just right, and after driving 500 miles today, I am happy to say that drone is non-existent. It's a wonderful muffler.

Word of advice: get a new exhaust/chain cutter from Lowes. Don't rent one from autozone, or you'll possibly spend over 5 hours trying to cut one exhaust off until your friend comes by with a dremel to save the day. Mine was so dull that it wasn't cutting anything anymore. Now I've got some sore wrists a blistered up hand
