Based on my personal experience, one went out on my e30 around 210k, it was the right front that had likely nudged many a curb while parallel parking on 14" stock wheels before my ownership (this is my best guess). The other front one has been going out for 10-15k or so (I'm at 235k). Rears have been solid with no issues.
Well, I'm not hearing or feeling anything out of the ordinary.

Got a new windshield, and trim, installed courtesy of insurance.

The original one cracked while I was scraping the snow/ice off it the other day. It was finished, anyway. "Sandblasted" over the past 15 years, it would glare out completely if driving toward the sun, pretty much leaving me blind... Now, when driving toward the sun, I can still see out the thing!

Cheers!

Since you have the DISAs on hand, what material are they marked as being, if they are? You need an oil, temperature cycle, and fatigue resistant plastic or you will have some big issues.

And as a side note, despite being budget oriented (I have one too) the ender series printers can be very, very good given the slicer is optimized properly and the printer is in perfect working order.

What slicer have you been using?
Personally, I've just been using Cura and messing with the nozzle and bed temp settings. It's definitely a good printer and I've learned a lot. My bed wasn't level from the factory so it's been shimmed with aluminum foil. Bought a clone BLTouch on Aliexpress and waiting for that to come in.

Only printing PLA at the moment but have a roll of PETG on hand if I want to print anything for the car--saw a bracket for a ResQMe on Thingiverse that may be useful.

I'm printing with the filament lines going along the length of the part, on the side, imagined it would be much weaker if they were just stacked on top of each other. Regardless I have a lot of testing to do to gauge if what this printer can do stock which is abs, is going to hold up to intake manifold temperatures. I'd think it could looking at just the temperature abs melts but it seems more flexible than pla and I think this would only get more pronounced as it heats up. Im using mattercontrol so far.

What of if you got heat reflective tape to help with that? At least for the prototypes

It arrived today as promised with the DISAs, throttle body, MAP sensor and heater elbow all in place. Haven't checked the disas yet but they seem tight and aren't filled with oil like the ones from the 330, so already better lol. $110 delivered, I'm calling this a win

You were replying to one of my posts where I said I was replacing mine on the RR, which is at 206k. @200k seems like a good ballpark for at least 1 of 4 to be on it's way out.

One of them just hangs around for parts. Unfortunately the body was so gone, we had to scrap the idea of restoring it. It's a real shame since it was an all original SS 283/Powerglide car. We still have the powertrain but the body doesn't have anything left in it.

So, we got another one, which was supposedly in better condition. Well: it wasn't. All of the cowl, trunk cowl, fenders, and much more was entirely gone. It's been my dad and I's project since I was 8 (now 19). It's getting there, but currently it's in a million pieces. I'll attach a picture at some point.

So mine has 113,500, and I got it at 78k. Changed the oil the first day I owned it because by the second I was on a 9hr journey with 4 people in the car to Orlando for a week. Trusted it from day one and it hasn't let me down. At 100k all drivetrain fluids were changed with oem fluids- but this proved to be unnecessary for the trans and diff as upon draining the fluid it became apparent the previous owner had already drained and filled with redline fluids. PS fluid was original looking, so was replaced with CH11s. Brake fluid was done too, but not until 103k before a track day- bmw genuine used as well.

The new car will get the same treatment early on. It needs a new clutch, but I'm getting it for $1,500 so I don't care- it has 150,000MI, and differs from my car only by interior and exterior color, and iDrive. I personally prefer the single hump dashes but we'll see if the car convinces me to swap the iDrive dash into mine before selling it and upgrade to NBT- ultimately the difference in surround processing will be the deciding factor. The non iDrive cars sound really damn good, but I haven't had too much experience with iDrive and L7 in anything except an e93, and those have a very different sound signature.

Hosed down my all weather rubber mat. Salt and snow did a number to my driver side mat. Nice and clean now. Waiting for some warmer weather to give my E90 a really good wash and wax.

Logic 7 feels more surround sound and theater like. To people who have a ear for sound my 330i seem to have a very fine tuned audio system. My other e90 just has the underseat subs replaced and it came with the audio PKG with tweeters but no middle or rear door speakers. It has speakers behind the rear headrest tho. Its not hifi or L7 but its the 2009 speaker setup which was weird. I can say the Bavsound can handle more bass but the 330i underseat subs are more than 15 years old now. I bet if it was new like the Bavsound it would be similar. I like listening to House music in my LCI e90 more but every other music sounds better in the 330i.

The unlevel bed seems to be the biggest issue with my ender5pro- which uses the same bed as the 3. Getting a glass bed sure seems like a good option, even if it means longer warmup times. Cura is good but it isn't without issues. If you ever have issues with parts repeatedly failing a few inches up, it's probably cura.
