So, driving my car with the new HPFP and more importantly the new software...which will be replaced shortly.

First observation is as I approach car there is more noise going on (fuel pump priming, etc) than before. Secondly, while still fast....I miss my EC tune. Thirdly....is it possible for my exhaust to be louder than it was before the software? I doubt it, but it just seems that way.

Software/tune can affect exhaust note. And it's probably the updated software that starts priming the pump as soon as you touch your remote...or yourself...or shove your remote up your ass...or all 3

Actually, I know its the software....just a little bit of a surprise even though the info had been posted before just how noticeable it is...and maybe because I have CA it is just as I approach/open the door without even using the remote (out here in the sticks we don't have to lock our doors).
