I'm down for a lunch meet. I'll be driving the maxima unless it is an exceptionally nice day.

Do you switch over to winters or do you have all seasons on the BBS?

I'll be in NH and ME for the next 3 weeks on school break, and it looks like I'll be riding around a black 2005 325xi 5-speed for at least some time!

Thanks for listening.
FWIW I will never go another winter without snow tires, regardless of the vehicle. The 'small' cost is well worth it IMO. I also gives you an excuse to have good summer tires and both will last longer as snows are on 1/4 of the year.

I had winters on my XI last year and I HIGHLY recommend them! Especially with the snow we got last winter they were AMAZING. It is always nice safely traveling 70 mph in a snow storm in an unplowed lane while others are going 20 mph in the lanes on the side of you. Also, tractor trailer drifted into my lane on the highway and I had to go into the unplowed breakdown lane and I felt like I was driving a yukon not a coupe, thing took foot a snow like a champ.
Last year I had blizzaks, this year I have michelin PA4s, but haven't tried them yet as I got a winter beater. |

The car came with summer tires, I swapped out the run flats for winter tires and sold them. It would have been foolish to run those tires during the winter

Well since everyone is quiet, I'm going to poke the bear. What does everyone have going on for winter? Any projects / mods on the horizon?

9 months. Due date is this Wednesday coming up, 1st born and it is a boy. Exciting times!
Congrats to you both too! How far along are you? As far as mods this whole kid thing really puts a damper on things. Thinking about college etc. But once an affordable ST comes out I hope to still be able to justify it...the car is set up for one for the most part unless I wanted to go suspension crazy...the wife wants a new kitchen so we'll see... |

Congrats to both of you guys! Bo, how was the house build? More intricate than a ST build I'm sure.

Had to meet with different vendors and the builder at least once a week for 4 months but it's well worth it in the end |
