Was running great for a few months and logs were great. A few days ago threw a nasty misfire.

Fuel low pressure sensor psi flatlined at 0psi.

https://datazap.me/u/lexxan/misfire?log=0&data=13-24

Misfire code jumps to a random cylinder each time it happens, sometimes just one cylinder, sometimes mulitple cylinders. Swapping coils/plugs doesn't matter.

29f3 also shown. Not going into limp mode, just wants to misfire. Safe to assume it's the fuel pressure sensor?

Car is throwing 30FF. I am able to replicate the issue under full throttle in 3rd and 4th. V8 stage 1+, stock.

Recent maintenance:
Plugs, Walnut blast, VC Gasket, RB External PCV, Intake and TB gaskets, Vacuum Lines, WG Solenoids, DV's.

I performed a boost leak test and verified vacuum before and after solenoids. I also adjusted the rear WG arm about 2.5 turns (not fun on a 535i). I believe the WG adjustment helped some but I am still low on boost.

30FF at ~4600 RPM

-Adaptations were reset not long before this log

First time to log and post. Running the new V8 E50 map and notice some timing pull on cyl 5. Can someone take a look to see if something else looks out of whack?

I also kept suffering from 30FF errors on OTS Stage 2+ FMIC 93 octane maps...

The only thing that resolved my issue was to go with a custom tune from BQ Tuning. Car runs fantastic now. I highly recommend a custom tune.

Nothing obvious I see, but you’re pulling timing a boat load on multiple cylinders post shift. How old are your plugs and what gap? Stay, afr, fuel psi on low and high all look fine

Plugs and coils were new at 85k miles and at 90k now so not that old. If I let off after shift, would that have made a difference? I may have let off a little post shift. Plugs are Bosch set at stock gap. Do I need to upgrade plugs now that I'm running so much ethanol and if so, which ones and what gap? Thank you by the way for looking this over!!

It is recommended to go to a colder/ smaller gapped plug like ngk 5992 when running e85. How large the timing pulls are is weird though. When I start to need new plugs, it manifests as 2-3* timing corrections on the top end. Your pulling timing pretty much down to its base level. I’d try running another log, and seeing if you replicate it

Did you hit a large bump in the road by chance? That can cause timing corrections,
But unless you did right when you shifted...

I was losing traction at 6k rpm and couldn't hit close to redline, gotta replace my tires with something more stickier.

Thanks!

Your transmission slipping or you were on a wet road

I'm running a 6062 PTE turbo with a manual tranny, the car was fish tailing at 6k~. I'm more than positive it wasn't wet while on the highway.

Who the heck tuned this? Lol
You are overboosting crazy, boost mean at 34psi! Throttle closure all the way.

Hpfp is low as well, 1000 psi.

It was a base tune provided by Motiv after I swapped in the boost box over the JB4. Guess I'll be buying a new HPFP.

Fuel trims are maxed, boost is nowhere near target, some decent timing corrections, this thing looks horrible

Let motiv actually tune it before buying stuff, and dont go WOT until you get a new revision

I'm having them dyno tune it sometime soon so hopefully all is well.

Also, Shell V-Power is, at least in my country, normal 95RON (91oct) with additives which bring it up to about 97RON.
It's not the best fuel to run. Don't run the higher maps on this fuel. Try BP Ultimate if they have it.

In Switzerland (lots of Ferraris to fill-up LOL), V-Power is rated at 100 RON (since 2005) - it's what I run on maps 93_98 and it fits the bill...

Don't know about Greece though - would be easier if Shell sold the same stuff under the same name in all the countries...
