Also just found out my rear passenger wheel is cracked. They can't fix it and told me I shouldn't drive the car until it is. Now they are looking for a place to fix that as well for me.

This not only cuts my vacation short, but now I'm out of time and money... Oh well... I guess it could've been worse, right?
sorry to hear about the breakdown, hope they got you repaired by now.

That price is no discount unless the reservoir is a tone of money by itself.

Well, as a quick update... I'm finally home at my parents house in Columbus.

I agree with you David, it seemed high to me, but what choice did I have? I'm sure if this happened in Cleveland, I could've paid much less, but oh well.

Also, what the dealer did was fill the cracks in the wheel with some silicone-like substance and told me that I should drive home carefully. They thought it wasn't a good solution, but the best they had at the time. Yesterday we drove home, and about an hour south of Columbus (in the boonies), and the car got a flat. It basically looked like the entire tire dismounted from the wheel, and then got completely cut by some metal (probably some part of the suspension). I had to drive it about 1/4 mile to the nearest exit, called AAA, and got it to towed to MAG. Then, grabbed a taxi ~1 am and got home.

Needless to say, it's been an exhausting and stressful vacation, and my car is out of commission until I get a wheel & tire replacement. Sadly, it seems that probably won't arrive until sometime next week. So, I get to drive my dad's Volvo station wagon back to Cleveland today and keep it for about a week.

I'll be making a trip out to Oxford this fall, I'll try to stop by.

Wish I knew about your shop when I still went to school there.

Didn't realize you all were OH based. Probably because I live in CO at the time. I sold my STi with many of your parts on it, my favorite being the race rear diff bushings, I'll never forget that first shift after putting those guys in... =] =]

I'll be down in the fall to visit my cousin and would love to check the place out!

I guess I'll introduce myself to the OH crowd now! I picked up my 2010 135i AW/6MT/M-Sport last month and just recently sold my 03 Evo. Do regular meets take place up here in Cleveland?

Every first and third Saturday of the month there is a cars and coffee at the Starbucks off of Transportation Blvd in Garfield Heights. Right off I-480, first exit east of the I-77 / Valley View Bridge area, south side of the highway.

Just wanted to let everyone know we are running a special on our walnut blasting service for E90 forum members.

The service is typically $400 but with the forum 10% discount it is $360.

That includes tear down of the entire intake system, cleaning of the intake manifold and charge pipe in our ultrasonic parts cleaner, cleaning of the intake ports/valves and walnut blasting, and reassembly of the intake system.

If needed and or requested we will also replace the oil filter housing gasket for an addition $90 if done at the same time.

The service typically takes less than 3 hours from start to finish. We are also very flexible on scheduling and if you are local we are typically more than happy to pick up and drop you car back off to you if it is more convenient.

If you guys have any questions just shoot me a pm/email/call.

Thanks!

Hello. I am a newbie to this forum. This is my first post. I am mainly posting so that I can be hazed by local fanatics such as my friend Igor who recently purchased a rare 1993 Civic wagon that he is oh so proud of (not to mention his emerald green E92).

Last year I purchased a 2007 335i coupe. I have recently learned that I should call this an E92 with an N54. It is in lovely Barbera Red Metallic with Black Dakota Leather.

I purchased it in 2012 from Kelly BMW for $25K with 53,000 miles.

It is an automatic with the Premium and Sport packages and has Gray Poplar wood trim. It has Logic7 with no iDrive. It currently has Michelin Pilot Sport run flats.

The high pressure injection pump was replaced prior to purchase. It was certified pre-owned, so it had new plugs, tires, etc. It was very well cared for as far as I can tell.

I have not made any modifications to the vehicle. I am considering a Cobb tuner, followed by a FMIC and catless downpipes. I actually know what those are now.

Amazing deal, I will need to find time/plan a road trip to the Nati from Cleveland. I was recently quoted $1000+ for W-blasting from a very reputable northeast Ohio BMW indy shop.

I had my water pump break, oil temp sensor die, air temp sensor die, solinoid cook, manifold crack, and turbo blow all within about a 2 month period last year. If your water pump took a dump I might make sure that nothing else went in the process. Looking at the manifold it looked like someone took a blowtorch to the thing.

On another note... girlfriend has some new shoes...

Well, it appears I will be moving to the frozen metropolis (or so I like to call Minneapolis), in around a month or so. It should be a nice change (assuming I can live through the winters), but I'm sure I'll miss Cleveland. I honestly cannot believe I've lived here for half my life now, so this city will always remain a special place for me. I've pretty much lived in Ohio all my life, so I'm excited about this change, but at the same time quite nervous.
