umm they normally call up the homies to bring spare parts or towed home...the bag normally ruptures.

In other news, my rear fenders are getting destoyed because of the crappy hwy roads in FL. Need to figure out how to flare them without it looking weird/not right. Any ideas? Wish there was some overfenders...

I ordered mine from chris too, shorter length springs and custom valved.
cant wait for them to arrive..

Dude, you can always go hardcore like the Z/vip car guys, cut the stock metal fender and do a custom flare, you just need a decent fabricator that's done that kind before, any shop who does fitment work on VW/Z's/vip cars would be recommended.
theres a thing called a T-cut, you can follow the stock body line or you can create a new agressive body line below the factory one...
if you have the cash and balls to play.. those widebody's come out the best and the cleanest.
(they cut a t shape into the fender spread the leg of the "T" an inch or so....weld a new piece of sheet metal to fill in that gap..then some cleaning up and smoothing out by a good body work guy and your done/off to paint)

needless to say it would cost about $2000 or so for something like that..maybe even more. best to do when you will be painting or wrapping the whole car.
If my wheels dont fit I will be doing that. if I can afford to at the time of course.

I think the first person to come out with overfenders for 3 series will make tons of money!

My front bumper has lots of scratches.. I drive low and park lower.

I don't get the point of bagging a car if the only reason is to lay it down when parked. The worst look is wide wheels with lots of stretch and a huge wheel gap..

All this said I have mad respect for your static setup Tee

I just never see the point of parking low? if its just for looks? ill photoshop out the wheel gap for the internet to see. the whole point of wide wheels is for max lip(i like big lips as much as the next guy) while trying to get some usable contact patch and or concavity if applicable. its the same thing for anyone that goes 10/11s? whats the point if you can get the same look with spacers on 8/9 or 9/10? why go wider? If i wanted to "look" that low as advertised when parked ill get some narrow wheels and the shortest linear spring lay frame and drag the oil pan 10 years ago.

again we have our preference, i said it many times ago if youre parked that low then go drive as is...no point resting the fender on the rim at shows to me. but then again if you like the tucking wheels rollin and kissing the fender parked bagged look its the way to go.

The speed bumps I have to cross daily is the reason I bagged mine. Two of them are just too high, cars with stock height scrape on them occasionally too.
I don't want to trash the underside of my 335i. with 19s I would have been static, but I wanted 18s this time. My daily e36 is on coilovers and scrapes badly everyday..

Parking low is just a bonus.

again like ive said, we all have our tolerance with style and driving style. sure mine rubs fenders/lip takes a beating undercarriage is trashed ...but i dont care? its not a forever car life is too short for me to worry about lil car battle wounds. but yes it does suck, theres some places with ramps ill get stuck on and would not park in the area... yes inconvenience but oh well. I mean we have our own style, hell lots of ppl like the look but would never do it cause it "rubs"...all about the tolerance.

And to your point, if you lower your car much at all, you are going to rub/scrape/all that good stuff. My car is hardly stanced but it’s been lowered, and my fender liners are getting got, front lip is pwned, etc etc.

So if you like the aesthetics….YOLO.

PS when are those center locks going to make an appearance dude?

Looks good but you needed to be a tad lower and about 10mm more on front for sure and rear to be aggressive. Looks flush though.

Tee on that note:
Fortune auto offers cups that can be added to their coilovers which can raise the car or drop the car 1-2 inches... its not an air ride its all coil..it actually cant be driven while lifted at any hi speed....since the cups are stiff..but they will lift the car for loading and unloading from trailers and for speed bumps...Obviously this is designed for dumped ass GT style cars or other race cars.
I am contemplating them for my Drift/show car build, since it will be mm off the ground with full areo.

Now that makes sense to me.!

yups seen those cup kits, iirc kw made a similar kit using hydraulics for a 45mm lift. but ya its like a half and half of both worlds, my only concern if and when youre riding aired up on the freeway...should a component fail you might be too low pending on your coil height could lead to some serious rub/tire blow out/fender damage. the irony of this was to avoid such catastrophe but you just introduced the car to air lines, fuses, switches, compressor, etc. im not doubting the reliability of any bagged systems, but the reality is that more hardware can fail. but in any event ... its nice to see the things companies engineered for the look.

Don't think the cup kits were meant to ride on air'ed up. Only for getting over speedbumps/driveways etc.

Air cups weren't designed to be driven distances like on a freeway aired up. They are great honestly for all the people who say that can't go low because of their driveway lol.
