polished the spare muffler I purchased for the upcoming performance mod. polishing metal is the most satisfying thing I have done to my car.

Using a meguiars 3" polishing pad and Griots DA and Autosol metal polish makes quick work of it.

Considering the bushings look intact and there is no play I can find, then the subframe is staying put.

Just to help a brother out, here's the parts list. RealOEM doesn't list the sport springs, but Tischer BMW (getBMWparts.com) does. Note, I left out the rear spring pads...

Here's the P/N's for the rear suspension (non-M) parts and subframe bushings for reference purposes.

I've got Spring break coming up (teacher) so off for 10 days and I try to always have a car-related project for that time. I've got new a new headlight system to install on my C5 Corvette and, now, the new sound system for the E91.

Out with the old:

JFYI, you didn't fit the lower part of the bracket correctly, it should be completely flush. There should be two metal pieces that fit within the bracket so you can gently push the lower part of the bracket against the center console.

Not sure what you are talking about - the climate control unit in the installed pic? The first pic is my E91 now and the second pic is off the Dynavin website of a customer installation. I should have made it more clear that this was to show an installed unit, not necessarily mine.

Here is another one and it appears this guy did it better:

I will try to be more like this guy . . .

The Cocomats are here! The Cocomats are here!

I know they are not everyone's choice but I love the look and the old-school vibe.

I see you have base seats. If you like the old school vibe I highly recommend Rixxu's classic series seat covers! The black pleather matches pretty closely to the center console. Ran them for about a year before I bought sport seats

Obviously not mine, but I have it for the night.

Fantastic car. Really is. However for daily duty, I think I'd take my 330i over it.

Vacuumed and cleaned the all-weather floor mats just for them to get dirty

It's supposed to snow a little tomorrow.
