Replacement side mirror finally came from Texas. Ordered blue glass from eBay and swapped it in. Realized that my mirrors were heated only, and the heated and auto dimming mirrors had different wiring so I was able to swap out the new pieces onto my existing side mirror structure to retain the wiring.

Also gave it a wash since it was out of commission for two weeks.

I made the ripped part of the bottom of the bumper come off for the 1700th time.. eventually I'll have to figure out a fix for this or get a lip.

Replaced the VCG, did most of the vacuum lines, DCI and Oil CC. Hoping my oil leak in the back of the motor is gone.

Could do drift stitching for a temporary fix, or be like me and get a front lip to cover the damage 😳

Drove over a nail taking it in tomorrow to see if they can fix it, it’s a decent sized nail but looks to be under the maximum for what my local tire shop fixes.

The lip sounds like a good idea lol. I tried melting the plastic on the inside together but whatever that's made of doesn't like to melt together, kind of iffy about eBay lips though

DP420 will get that stuck together for good we use that shit for everything in FSAE lmao

If you do go this route, scuff the inside with 40grit for the best bond strength. It's proper structural epoxy though, worlds above any super glue or gorilla glue.

When we have a randomly warm day at the beginning of spring like last week my snow tires sound like an airplane.

I bet you the ebay aero style lip would mount up okay. Mine's an ebay acs style, same material. Jons solution doesn't sound too bad either

Drilled small screws on both sides of the tear and used zip ties on my previous 2011 335i.

Vacuum lines, DCI look nice. Nice to see others have as many missing screws/bolts on the cowl and engine cover as my car did (previous owners/mechanics). I've replaced the ones I can.
