yeah the other car's a beater now...
Tranny's going out...and i really don't think it's worth to fix it at this point.

nah...we're looking at either a sedan or SUV/SAV right now, for when the kid comes...
I was going to go out and test drive some last night, but ate too much for dinner and just wanted to veg.

Well, my wife likes the highlander...Not sure about the '08's since I haven't really seen one in person, but this is her first choice.

it depends on the wife's schedule and where she works.
At this point we're down to 1 car, so I'll have to see.
quite honestly, she doesn't even know what time she's getting off, but if she works close by, then maybe I'll drop her off and take the car for the day

why does your wife work around OC on saturdays? i thought she worked for citi or something?

Nah, not specifically OC, she's a freelance makeup artist for Shiseido...mainly gets contracted by Nordstroms, but has done work for other department stores at their counters. So last week she was down in Mission Viejo, sometimes she's over at Brea, sometimes Santa Ana, South Coast, Fashion Valley, Santa Anita, Glendale

It all depends on where they need her.

Well to tell you the truth, when I rented an '06-'07 highlander and an '07 camry from hertz, I'll tell you, I thoroughly enjoyed the highlander a lot more than the new camrys.

Not sure what the '08 has to offer, but we'll test drive and reserve our decision till then. right now it's attractive because of the price point compared to the other cars (<$40k otd vs. close to $50k otd)
