I remember putting a beach towel on my rear seats because my mom brought fresh-baked pizza from this pizza place and I didn't want to have the hot pizza box mess up the leather.

Not sure if it actually would.

My mom looked at me like I was crazy

Is there like a heatpad or fire under the seats? How to they get heater to go into the steering wheel also.

Idk about how the steering wheel one works. Based on some of them I've felt there may just be a resistive wire in there along the inside of the hard part beneath the leather.

The seats are heated through a resistive mat, that goes between the leather and padding below.

I tried to use it to hear a cinnamon roll once. Didn't do much.

However, I did learn you can heat a Hawaiian roll in the chilled cup holder as long as the heat and rear is set to hot.

If you still got that shaft and flap laying around yes lol. Lacking parts for these really but I got a couple small valves. Isn't the issue with yours just electronics though?

I absolutely do lol. When I was doing the whole flashing thing I managed to finally test the DISAs through inpa. Small one isn't working. Got a code after flashing to stock about the servo motor

Honestly one of the coolest parts of the car other than the...engine, trans, chassis, brakes, sound, looks.....okay whatever.

But it's really useful, especially on long drives. It can turn a warm can of soda into fridge-ish in a pretty respectable amount of time which is really nice on 4+h trips- especially since it can close with something in it. It's also really useful if you get a large drink in a cup because it prevents condensation- you just gotta leave the lid open.

Think of it like a flat lightbulb with the filament woven thru cloth. I've seen them a lot on one of the e30 convertibles because 30 year old leather in a drop top doesn't age well.

nah, I got one interview today at Home Depot. Two Thursday. One at Aldi is an interview intervention/hiring event (kinda don't feel like going. It's at 8 am). The other one is for a amazon delivery driver. Then I got one on Saturday at a Lexus Dealership.

I'll just be working until the fall semester of college doesn't start again. So, I'll be working for roughly 4-6 months and that's it.

Go for whichever one gives you the most work experience. What's the Lexus dealership one, sales? I had a friend who worked at Aldi during college, she did pretty well and they allowed her flexible hours even during the semester.

Lexus, I'll be doing internet sales. Better than being on the sales floor imo. I mean, I'll be in the city for school. So, Aldi letting me work during the semester wouldn't really matter.

I think the Amazon Delivery driver might be decent. $18/hr and you're basically on your own schedule just driving around. All 4 of those jobs are 10 miles or less (one way) from my house.

Got my valve cover FINALLY installed, along with coils and 1 plug (I did them before, but replacing the one that had the oil leak again because fuck it). Was kinda shaky on startup before, but I think that's been cured. Definitely idles better and some missing power came back. Now the only thing left is to tackle the minor OFHG seepage.

Finished putting mine back together today as well. It had sat half done for a week, been a bit cold out and I just didn't have the enthusiasm.

On an unrelated note I'm putting an E90 brake booster and master cylinder into my E30 as an upgrade. The vacuum hose is a much smaller diameter on the E90, does anyone know if I can just unplug the fitting from the E30 booster and plug it into the E90 part?

Update if anyone wants to know:

Just got back from Home Depot.

They wanted to hire me today (Gardening position. Gonna be outside a lot so a lot of sunlight and fresh air . Pay, $14/hr). But, I kinda wanna see what position and pay I'll be getting at Aldi, Amazon Delivery, and Lexus.

So, I told them I would let them know Saturday after 4 pm (My interview at Lexus is Saturday at 4 pm)

Have you thought about working at an Amazon ware house? I highly recommend it.
