There is a diy and I remember reading it. It wasn't complicated but it was alot of work.

DIY with paint? If you DIY stripping, they will still have to be media blasted

I don't even know, but I'm starting to get the sense that you guys are right about these things. I brought the [famously rare] X3 in for some maintenance and service and because my iPhone was pairing to the iDrive missing half my contacts list, and I went to pick it up today, and I noticed an extremely small--but inarguably present--scratch on the left rear bumper. It looks like a white pube (any silver bears on this forum tryna fuck with my ultra-raremobile) was engrained in the paint, not a big deal, but I know it wasn't there when I dropped it off because I checked the car before I left with the loaner.

I was pissed, so they said they'd take care of it sometime next week if I brought it in for an hour.

It's only due time before the exchange fucks me over with the A6 (out of warranty).

"sandblasting" but in a more gentle way. Organic matter such as baking soda or walnut shells are used to remove the finish without ablating the metal underneath. If you sandblasted the wheel, you would lose aluminum

yup...I've only been there twice, and both times I felt as though the sales people did not take me seriously. This is evidenced by the lack of followup that I asked for the first time.

This time I had to literally walk up to a sales person and ask for help as the sales staff just milled around doing nothing. I chose the one guy who was actually working his phone instead of one of the snobs looking down their nose at me.

I was wearing a custom made shirt with french cuffs, and el paca sweater vest and custom made pants and my Bostonians. So I looked professional (not trying to brag, just giving you the backround). I drove up in my Knauz BMW loaner. So I don't get it. I do have brown skin...maybe that's it? Dunno. I usually don't ever feel my skin color has been an issue so that would be weird but possible.

I wouldn't suggest that it has anything to do with your skin color, but hey, you never know; some people are just "like that." I will say, unashamedly, that the sales staff and service representatives at the exchange are rude (with few exceptions), and get rather indignant and even accusatory when their integrity is called into question. I try to keep the A6 in the best condition I can to avoid having to drive up there....great deal on the car though...six years ago.

Cause if stealing a $76 (worth $17) pen from a dealership selling cars in the sixth figure constitutes losing your job...well fuck it.

LOL, this one is korean. My other trainer is a Jewdubbadger, but he like his white friends.

You know how Carlton I am. I really hesitated to suggest that about exchange....I just threw it out there as a possibility. Again, I rarely ever believe that this gets in the way for me, and if it does I usually don't care much. I'm not Milton Bradley.
