Great numbers but i always wasnt a fan of dynapack. Does are the ones that attach to the hub of wheel correct? They read higher than dyno jets.

I would think that the hub connection would be most accurate? That's what Dinan uses...although I can see how against the wheels would be more life like results

Not sure if it is just my car being a 335Xi auto or not, but I physically cannot fit my hand down where I need to for removal of the turbo coolant pipe. I have cuts on my arm where I tried, but I can just barely get to the top bolt and no chance of getting to the other 2. I am not a real small guy, so make sure you have a buddy with smaller arms come help you

I'm trying real hard to get a dyno run in before it shows here. Had some set backs but I'm getting work done at the dealer next Tuesday. After that I'm getting the BMS flash on and then scheduling a dyno run. Ill have a good comparison too as I dyno'ed car car with the same mods minus the turbo and flash.

I can't remember but I may gotten that from the bottom after the thermostat and water pump were out. Would that be easier?

Wait, that's not the aluminium one is it? The one that sneaks behind the wastegate rod? That one doesn't come out.

It is the big aluminum one (1.25" diameter?) that goes in front of the turbo and attaches between the fire wall and the turbo. I am not sure you could get the turbo out if that is not removed, but possibly you could.

This one? If so, that doesn't get removed. It would be easier if it was out but it would take longer to take it out than the time it would save being out.

Meh - with it still installed how did you get the wastegate shaft loose? I agree, I got mine out but also do not have an xdrive. For my experience installing pure on a different 335xi, xi is much tighter and saves the time struggling to get a tool inside of it to remove the wastegate shaft from the housing...

That second bolt on the wastegate shaft was the worst part of the whole install imo. Both when removing and putting it back in. I sat the turbo on the cross member when I did mine while making sure not to bump the wheel.

The hardest part for me was getting the damn turbo out around the engine and that big ass timing tensioner bolt! We did remove it on both other cars I helped with and seemed to be worth the time. It's just 3 bolts up at the top of the lower engine side...

Oh ok. I looked at where the bolts were located and decided there was no way. Haha

For those with Pure Turbo Stage 1 installed, does anyone felt the turbo lag on street driving has changed compare to stock turbo?

I have see a few dyno graphs and the tq curve seems to be more or less similar to stock vs pure turbo stage 1 in 1500-2500rpm but of course with the pure turbo upgrade the tq just continue to climb, it doesn't tell me how it will feel like compare to the stock.

It spools almost identical to the stock turbo. Most customers can't feel any spool time difference.

I didn't notice any additional lag at all. I was surprised.

Thanks for the feedback guys, well it's good to know spool time is about the same as stock. I am more curious is in situation of partial throttle in the the lower range of rpm.
