Nah I used my car to try wrapping for the first time, it's just a glue line in the vinyl due to my lack of skill.

Finally washed and waxed my E90.
And then I went to avoid a car the suddenly went into reverse. The idiot was looking down, probably at his cell phone. I cut the wheel to sharp to avoid him, and hit a curb with my side skirt. I cracked the side skirt, and a square piece, looked like a filter fell out. Not sure what it is. I’m going tomorrow to the body shop. What’s amazing is, the skirt has no scratches, just cracked. And some liner also came off. I hope this isn’t going to be expensive. Last edited by ny325; 03-21-2021 at 10:37 PM.. |

The square piece is likely your jack point pad, they pop right out. |

I can’t believe how people just don’t pay attention when driving. It literally would’ve taken 5 seconds for me to make a proper turn. Instead, I had to quickly cut the wheel, and bang, went over a curb. I’m sorry for your damage. Was it bad? |

Reinstalled Trans.
I reinstalled my trans after attempting a DMFW and clutch replacement. Only to have a dead clutch pedal...

I was turning left the other day on an arrow, and suddenly someone from the straight traffic lane bolts left, forcing me over. I hit the curb only with my driver rear wheel, but it definitely left some curb rash. People suck. |

We often curse BMWs and think it must be easier on Toyotas and the like, it's not. Trying to replace a slipping power steering belt on my Mk.1 RAV4. Access to the bolts is terrible and and they're rusted solid, utter night mare. Every car has some jobs you don't want to tackle. RAV4 timing belt even worse.

They do all the body work for Ferrari’s and Maserati. They have a dealership next to BMW. I used them before for some minor scuffs on my bumper. They didn’t even charge me. |

Cleaned up the Style 161s, they're cleaner then they were but no less curb rash. Took them to the tire place to get dismounted while I think on what to do with em. Out of 4 tires I had not one that was spec for the car, and one 8" and one 8.5" wheel on the front and ditto the back. Shame cause 3 of them are almost new, just not the right ones and on the wrong wheels.
