Yea, leaning towards keeping my winter set and getting a new summer set and selling my 230s.
Looking at 9.5/11inch M3 set up of the AG m310s. Would be agressive as shit, but look awsome.

so, I orignally was going to get them powder coated for better durability in the winter, but as these will only be summer wheels, you think the regular matte black finish is sufficient or should I still powder coat?

I am ordering direct from the AG, so they can paint it or powdercoat. Is the powdercoat worth the extra 250 if its never going to see winter weather.

its not the 250, its the fact I have seen close up pictures of the paint, and they look amazing, and havnt seen any of the powdercoat back. So I would prefer getting theone I know that looks good over the one thats tougher, if the tougher is a moot point.

yeah but its not just salt and stuff that powdercoat protects. Its a stronger bond between the paint molecules, more resistant to cracking or chiping. a small rock can do some damage on that kind of stuff, would easily do LESS damage on powdercoating. As long as they clear it, it should look just as good if not better than paint.

I'd read up if the wheels are aluminum. The baking process can compromise the integrity of the wheels
