yeah its a lot bigger than I thought it was but also that lens hood makes it look bigger than it actually is.

sorry Seth that isn't a lens it's a telescope. maybe u can get some nice shots of Jupiter

70-200mm f/2.8 L

though I'd be really nice to get a 400mm f/4 DO L I'd need to save up a few YEARS for that....

While on the topic of lenses, I know you mentioned the 50mm f/1.8 as a cheap lens to have, but if I was looking for a little better lens, any thoughts on the EF 35 f/2.0 or the EF 28 f/1.8 USM? Looking for a good lense for basic indoor shooting.

all the same quality basically... just decide if you want a 50mm 35mm or 28mm.

you can however get a 50mm in f/1.4 for like $250-$300 if you want a little more light.

I prefer the 50mm but a 35mm would be pretty sweet too.

I know the WB is bad, I didn't even put them in PS, threw them into iPhoto to resize. Not really concerned with the WB just wanted to show the clarity
