I know the leg I broke in May has been really sore! But, I am a huge fan of winter!

Wow Gary that’s quite the coincidence! No, no X3 as of yet. Motorwerks is doing a little shopping around for us. Hopefully they’ll find something soon. While my wife and I both like the M Sport package, she is willing to forgo it due to the lack of a heated steering option! Hopefully I can change her mind.

I barely use my heated seats in the winter, so I definitely didn't care about losing the heated wheel with my M Sport package. I would get the wife a nice pair of gloves and go for the M Sport

Anybody watching the new series of Top Gear? I watched the motorhome episode last night, and I thought Clarkson's Citroen was awesome

Isn't this more because you only drove your car twice last winter?

I seriously LOVE my heated steering wheel.

I'm glad my car came from CA, so it has ZERO cold weather necessities...NO heated seats, NO heated steering wheel, heck, I was surprised when I saw it actually has defrosters! Haha

Haha yes, but I wouldn't doubt it has a less-powerful blower and smaller core

I don't know about you guys, but I'd be perfectly happy without leather, don't mind seat heaters. I really wish BMW offered cloth upholstery here...

Nononononono, really? Not in a BMUU. I can't imagine having "sporty" seats that hug you in made of cloth. I do wish my/our E90s came with higher-quality leather.

Wait, Gary isnt' the white leather in yours really high quality/soft? Normal E90 leather is like snakeskin compared to yours.

I don't think the oyster leather I have now is anything special when compared to what I've had in the past on other E9Xs. I think you need to get into the 5er or M cars to get higher quality leather.

The standard cloth upholstery they had in Europe wasn't the nicest, but when you ordered sport seats as an option, you got a much nicer material. My Dad had this option back in the 90s on an E39 and I really liked it. It looked good, felt good and lasted well.

Great episode. Clarkson's Citroen is awesome. Also liked the R8 vs 911 TT test in the beginning.

I love Top Gear.

Me too, I think I'm addicted to Top Gear! I was watching an old episode on my dvr last night, the winter olympics special. Playing ice hockey with the little Suzukis looked like so much fun - who is up for a game with our bimmers once the lakes freeze over?

You should probably check out Circle BMW before ordering from Tischer. I know Tischer is a board sponsor, but Circle's prices seem to be quite a bit lower on many items. Tischer wants $56 for the front all weather mats and $35 for the rears, whereas Circle wants $52 and $30. That's not too far off, but I just got the Noah cover for my e93 from Circle for $166, Tischer wanted $190. Before ordering from Circle, I PM'd the Tischer guys to see if they would match Circle's price, since I would have preferred to buy from a board sponsor, but they wouldn't do it. They said Circle's prices on their website were probably out of date. Not true. I ordered the cover (and some oil change supplies) from Circle, will arrive Fed Ex tomorrow.
