I am in Virginia Beach, drive an 2006 e90 330i and am looking to the following:

1. Buy tires
2. Install said tires
3. Get an alignment

I would love to hear recommendations from you guys about where I should go in the 757 area to get this done. I am considering buying the tires from Tire Rack and having them shipped to the shop.

ProRim in Greenbrier does mine although not on my M yet. Ask for Chris. I'm pretty sure he has tires as well. Not sure of brands or prices. He's great for rim repair and has gotten into some modding. I've ordered from tire rack also.

I am looking for somewhere that could also do an alignment as I just wanted to drop it off and have it all done as I dont have a lot of time on my hands right now. It doesnt look like ProRim does alignments, but they do look like a nice place otherwise.

What are people's thoughts on this RaceWerks place for doing simple tire install + alignment? I have read about suspension install but not just wheels/tires.

ProRim does do alignments and have done them for me on my other cars. Racewerks has done a drop, tire balance and alignment for me on my M. Ask for John

I get my alignments done at RaceWerks. Never had a tire mounted there, but they told me if I ever needed to, I could buy from tirerack and have the tires shipped directly to RaceWerks that way there would be no need for me to lug tires around with me.

+1 on the alignments from RaceWerks. Any suspension work I would definitely have them do it. Engine work I would take some where else.

For what it is worth, I have ordered my tires from Tire Rack and had them shipped to Race Werks. They are scheduled to be put on Monday and I will update with my impressions afterwards.

I had some work done by them a year ago. Long story short I took my car there 4 times for the same issue it's an hour away from me I got charged everytime. The last time I took it to them for the same problem the guy at the counter said "I had the same car and my check engine was on all the time I just ignored it". Mind you the engine light was NOT on before the service. I later found out after going to another shop that they had incorrectly installed a part on the engine. I had to pay again to get the issue finally resolved. One of the worst shop experiences that I have ever had. Just my experience of course. Proceed at your own risk.
