My FWP for today;
When I'm using the touchpad on my laptop and it zooms in on accident. Who the fuck would incorporate a zoom function on a touchpad? If I wanted to make the screen bigger, I would just open the view tab. Fucking annoying really. |

You should be able to kill that in the settings. Or have your IT crew do it.

I could call IT and pawn it off on someone else, not a terrible idea. Just need to find my assistant to make the phone call. |

I hate that when in a hurry, it's not a big deal, but just another thing to do. I'm tempted to wake up the au pair and ask her to do it, but it would be even more time wasted...she already gets on my case about snoring

I think that's FAP, not FWP.

Co-sleeping is nuts, gonna lead to a world of hurt. Unless there is some sort of medical condition, just put her in her room and teach her to sleep on her own. Takes about two weeks but so worth it.

Co-sleeping is great if mom is breast-feeding (Dad doesn't have to do shit but roll over and cover his head) But if you want another one, co-sleeping puts a real damper on the activities normally associated with getting another baby in your stomach.
My son finally decided to sleep in his own bed about age 12, hence why I had to buy him a Tempurpedic mattress as well as ours, because I couldn't sleep on his lumpy bed after sleeping in mine. |

1. My house is haunted, so I dont want her to sleep alone
2. I hear things that arent really there on the baby monitor, so I dont use them anymore because its freaks me out. 3. She cries if I walk out her room, and it breaks my heart. 4. My house is haunted. 5. She sleeps longer when she's with me. |

Ok, the way I handled this was
1. Enforce strict not-allowed-near-kid-after-bedtime policy with mommy 2. Put kid in crib, leave room, do not come back into room 3. See #1. 4. See #1. 5. Still doing #1 6. After a week, voila. No more crying and kid was in routine of self-sleeping. This would've been done sooner but... see #1... think she was like a year and a half at the time. Now that I'm divorced, and my kids live with me half the time, they have slept in their own beds since their first overnight at my residence (they were about 3 and 1 in ages). I get the feeling they still sleep in mom's bed at mom's house but who knows. This seems to be (not always, but often) a common difference between moms and dads. That's my 2 cents. I will go back to serving popcorn now. My first world problems are that I bought a lobster and cooked it the other day, and then realized I forgot to buy that little cracking utensil to eat the tasty bastard. Had to improvise. |

I like that my baby still sleeps with me. If I ever date someone or decides she needs to sleep in her own room permanently then I'll deal with that later.
For now, she can stay in Momma's bed. One day she's not going to want a kiss goodbye at school, one day she's going to want to hang out with her friends all day and not want Mommy anymore. Until then, I'm going to have as much time with her as possible. Even while sleeping. <3 **Watch me retract my words in a month lol |
