Hopefully we can get some noise going!!!

I am down for a mini-meet this weekend. How about Saturday morning at Imola? I might pop down to get my winter tires mounted.

Haha I'm down for a quickie tomorrow morning.

Welcome back Anvar! Did you have to do any driving like this:

This is one of the craziest shows I"ve ever seen! You should see how fearless these Indian drivers are! Head-on collisions are like meals! People have 3 a day

GIAC Tune in Twin Cities

Hi all - I'm going to be moving to Minneapolis in the spring and want to get the GIAC stage one flash once I move. Has anyone gotten it done in or around the twin cities? If so, where would you recommend? Thanks!!!

Hey Scott, I had the GIAC stage 1 flash on my 09 135i. The car was spectacular with the tune. I gained about 55whp and 60ft lbs of torque on an otherwise stock car. The car was incredibly smooth and performed great during a track session as well. I got my car flashed with Bob at Midwest Motorwerks in Hudson. Wisconsin, which is about 30-40 mins away from Minneapolis. The shop is nothing to write home about and my car was the first and only one that he has flashed to date I believe. I had no issues with the flashing process and even had my car flashed to stock before I traded it in. I believe that at the moment Midwest Motorwerks is the only place to get it. With the new flashloader out, I would definitely recommend that you get it so that you can run the stock map for any dealership visits.

Please feel free to post any other questions. Cheers.

M3 ESS tune

Hey Joe I stumbled upon your ESS tune thread. I am curious as to what the software does for an NA engine? How does the car feel post tune?

No guys, I am not in the market for a tune, I am just curious

BTW, N54 guys are you taking your rides in for the recall? Are they really going to fix anything apart from the "software" update and the new pump, which seems to be failing as well?

USA Today Reliability Report

Guys,

I chanced upon this while at the Frankfurt airport during my layover. It is a USA today report on the most reliable cars by brand for 2011. I feel validated in my M3 purchase!

I'm probably in the minority, but a high reliability rating is usually not at the top of my list when I'm car shopping. Hell, I used to have a Fiat and an Alfa Romeo, marques that are usually at the bottom end of such lists! (I never had any issues with either car luckily )

I downloaded the app yesterday, I like it!

How do you like the 4 so far? My 3Gs battery is on it's last legs so I'm thinking about getting a 4 too.
