So v2.02 is still in Beta basically? What were the changes from 93 v2.01 to 93 v.202?

Also after i did some live data monitoring i was playing around with the AP and noticed it says its firmware is v1.6.3.2-2007. I thought this was alittle odd esp since my car is an 2008. And my AP was ordered over the phone.

Anyway Thanks again for the help.

I wonder what would happen if you ran stage 2 on a car without the "recommended" mods.

You knock and timing reduces and the car runs slower. (combined with not being healthy for the car).

Stages and Map recommendations are designed for specific performance mods and octane.

From the last time I spoke to COBB, they did test the stage 2 kit with a FMIC upgrade and it did definitely produce some nice hp/tq gains. The official requirement list hasn't been posted yet though I'm sure that Meth is not going to be a requirement. Stay tuned as COBB will definitely chime in real soon once more details are available!

just a FMIC and no downpipes.... interesting. How come this mod thing resembles a some sort of addiction? Now I will have to get a FMIC.

no, it will be FMIC AND downpipes as already mentioned, or just downpipes if you do the regular stage 2 without fmic tune. I was told that catback will not be required, however i may be leaving some hp on the table by not having one. that is fine though as i would rather have a quiet commuter car than an obnoxious one that gets +5hp

We discussed the rumored "Stage 2" and "2+" requirements back a couple pages. It's also no surprise that an aftermarket FMIC produces significant gains on the Stage 1 tune, or even a stock car altogether. After installing a 5" ETS intercooler, my car picked up 40HP at the wheels from 5000-6000 RPM on Cobb's dyno.

+1 ???

I have the close windows via remote, mph dash display, front turn signals coded off, etc...

Will these custom codings be reverted back to stock if with the ecu flash?
