I finished installing the Supreme Power lowering perches, the initial drop is about 1/4" on the Sport suspension. I will admit that I was hoping for 1/2" but I'll doublecheck later.

Running the same perches, and very pleased with the drop.

Does supreme power still make these or you bought used? Dinan fixed front camber plates raise the front suspension a bit, maybe these could be used to negate that.

I bought them from a forum member a week or two ago, I don’t think that they are available new any longer or at least the link is dead on their website. I first measured as I put it on the ground and after my first drive, I see that it is a 3/8” drop from stock. I think it rode slightly more firm but not much from before.

Ok, so I dug up the thread and I realized that the images I posted were of the outer tail lights and not the trunk light.

I will however scan the trunk light this week and post some images.

You can find the outer tail ight images here: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showp...0&postcount=15

In addition the tail light I also did some pcv valve scans.
You can see images of the PCV Valve here: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showp...0&postcount=12

Updating the "large DISA missing flap in the intake thing". The picture is what I pulled out of the intake a while ago. I have replaced it with a fully functioning large DISA.

Pulled the intake, and found... NOTHING. The flap is nowhere to be found.

So, I think, sometime in the past, someone had the flap come off, and just put the DISA frame back into the manifold.

Now I have to replace the external CCV system. Anyone know an inexpensive kit, that includes all the hoses, and oil separator available in Canada?

Cheers!

Turned the A/C on since I haven't used it since last year when it was around 95 degrees outside.

I used a $60 kit from amazon. Never again. I highly recommend fabbing up your own catch can system.. Wish I went that route in the first place

I encountered my first Ricer boy, noticed he was weaving in and out of traffic well over the speed limit and tried to cut into the left turn lane in front of me from the far right lane. He probably wasn't too happy about me not stopping traffic to allow him to cut line. I noticed he fell behind as everyone turned left with the arrow, he hit the gas and drifted through the intersection creating a white cloud. As he passed everyone on the right, passing an elementary school he just made it into the left lane as his lane ended. You think BMW owners have a bad rep, this stanced Japanese brand was a real gem and made quite the impression.

I’ve always wondered what the protocol is there: can you call the cops on a dangerous driver?

I’ve seen that behavior so many times on I-285 and I-20 to the point where it’s become a Max Max film on the freeway...

I've always thought that driving around Nashville was like a NASCAR race...

Agreed. It is for sure, especially 440, 24 and 65. Now if you get on the 840 it is a superspeedway without restrictor plates!

And a long way from a pit crew if you're in need.

Can you share photos of how it looks behind the screen?
Is there a huge gap there or a cover?

Got annoyed at it for being way down on power.

No codes. It's most definitely related to my throttle control issue. Maybe eccentric shaft sensor? Is that a symptom?

Some days it's great, some days it can't move its own weight.

My inner DISA failed without giving any codes. New one certainly helped power.

When you replace it use the O rings from the old hoses on any new ones that are hard to fit. If I'd done that it would have saved me a ton of swearing.

In the shop for an oil pan gasket and engine mounts. I feel so defeated - handing my car over to experts who know what they're doing! A true tragedy in the face of a DIYer!

But they're a really great shop. BMWs and Minis. It's all they do. And they're literally 1 mile away from me. Totally happy to give them business. I need an extra $400-$600 in tools to do this job on jack stands, and it'd take me a full weekend. They know their stuff well.

I wish I had a backup car. I'd be so cool with trying these things if I didn't rely on it to get from A to B.

I felt the same way as I dropped the parts off to have the Supreme Power lowering perches mounted. I got everything off the car and decided that the Autozone spring compressor wasn't a safe way to go.
