yea my friend that used to race had a sweet rm with yellow plastics and the gold hubs and rims, they were a ton of money! but it looked amazing lol

i really didnt care for the asv's to be honest. the only reason i got them was cuz i snapped a clutch lever in the first lap of a race and had a shitty finish cuz my 125 needed the clutch feathered in raceway park deep loamy sand or it didnt move lol

yo shane, im planning on going to budds creek this summer for a nationals race, you should see if you can come. im bringing my kids. i told my 7 year old he was already there once but he wont remember cuz he was still in his moms belly lol

Not to mention Kev, there wasnt a scrathc on my bikes! If someting got scratched, it got replaced! I tore those bikes down to the frame about every three months and cleaned them all including the filters and shit, changind out all the wheel bearings and regreasing everythign. Those bikes were better than new when they were sold!
I will never forget when my buddy got his new KTM, was about 3-4 years newer than my RM and he thought he was gonna take me froma stop to the top of a 200' tall mountain just straight up! Needless to say he staired at my ass the whole way up the hill!
I love hill climbs! I lived for that shit! FUCK I miss it! Just talking to you makes me wanna go buy a new 250 (2 storke that is)!

I was there about three years ago when I lived in MD, I was about 35-45 minutes from the track! What a gorgeous track! I will def look into it, when is the national? I go to the highpoint and steel city nationals every year! I took a nice plack at the steel city national the one year! Man I miss that shit!

haha me too, i had a spare set of plastics in my race trailer at all times lol, it became a real issue with my wife at the time cuz if my back fender got scuffed from my boot i swapped it out and ordered a new one lol

Kev, have oyu ever raced steel city? They had a so many rythm sections there, I loved that track, prolly my all time favorite! They had these uphill doubles that were to die for! two sets in a row! You lay it out to the left on the fiirst set, setting yourself up to lay it out to the left on the second set and that sets you up perfectly for the right hand bend directly after that! OMG! It was the dreamiest double double ever!
