Yeah but the RWD + Awesome color combo are the things that arent gonna change. Its easy to swap seats, steering wheel and get some nice suspension on. Or buy mine for the same price

Hi Guys,

Yes, that one is me. Thanks for posting. Ultimately I envision putting the car on BAT in the spring but I was hoping to create a little buzz with the eBay listing. Typically I would do a much better job with pictures/write up but for the purpose of visibility it is good enough for now. Who knows, maybe I will get a bite on it.

The car is so clean I am seriously considering keeping it. I run a 5 speed E46 wag in the winter and this is a very tempting replacement.

Gosh these prices now make me wonder what mine could potentially sell for.

2011 e91 msport 6spd, HK, only missing option is comfort access. 53k miles, black on black.

Gosh I just love the car though and the thought of a profit on it does not entice me one bit. Not even for an e9x m3.

Long live the manual touring!!

Matt, couldn't agree more. The prices do seem high but when you think about what the alternatives are there is really nothing to compare them too.

I was walking the mall yesterday waiting for a new IPhone battery and noticed a Kia was priced around 23K...granted it was new but I wouldn't want to drive it.

On autotrader & cars.com there is exactly one 3-pedal/manual trans E91 for sale and it is the $40k EAG unicorn. So, if you are shopping for one there aint a lot of choice, either. Plus, what else are you going to get for the same money?

Congrats, glad you found one that works for you!

My black on black brother! There are only 5 M Sport 6MT RWD Black Sapphire on Black cars out there, I wonder where the other 3 are. I share the same sentiment, I'm not sure what I would sell mine in favor of even with the "inflated prices" I could sell mine for.

Agreed, there were only 49 RWD 6MT M Sports built.

Generally I think the fair value sales price is mid-20's for a nice medium mileage 6MT M Sport and high teens for a nicely spec'ed LCI 6MT. What these are listed for and actually sell for are 2 different things. And of course, there are always deals to be had.

WOW - I'd be hard pressed to turn that kind of $$ down but I likely would. It's that special to me. After 6-7 months of searching and finding an awesome PO like I did I couldn't be happier. Shit makes me smile so much.

For someone who has a dealers license, this is for you. My 2008 328i (RWD) 6spd MT wagon is at Carmax Woodbridge, VA and going to a dealers auction, likely the one at Carmax Laurel, MD. It would be a great car for someone with time and a dealers license.

Here is the story on it. I picked up this car from Carmax Woodbridge, VA in late Dec. A pre purchase inspection from BMW Sterling reveled fluid in the Eccentric Shaft Sensor and oil in the coolant reservoir. These items were both replaced by Carmax under warranty. After getting the car back, it was experiencing a strange idle drop at a warm start. The car was sent back to BMW and they diagnosed metal shavings and coolant in the oil. The resolution would've been an engine replacement. Carmax decided to buy the car back instead of fixing it. They told me it was going to be sold at a wholesale dealers auction. This was a great car while I had it and really wish Carmax would've worked with me a little more on the price considering the issues. I hope one of our own finds it and gives it the life it deserves. Good luck.

The details of the car:
2008 BMW 328i (RWD)
66k miles
VIN: WBAVS13538FV95168
6spd Manual
White on black
Manual seats non heated seats
Bone stock
New Logic Head Unit (replaced Jan 2019 by BMW Fairfax)
New Eccentric Shaft Sensor (replaced Jan 2019 by BMW Alexandria)
New Valve Cover Gaskets (replaced Jan 2019 by BMW Alexandria)
New Coolant Expansion Tank (replaced Jan 2019 by BMW Alexandria)
Coolant Flush (Jan 2019 by BMW Alexandria)
Title showed me as the 3rd owner
No rust

I tried to upload pictures, but couldn't get them within the forum limitations.

Don't think I saw this one posted yet...

2010 6MT xdrive, 132k space gray / saddle brown. $10,800

Many panels repainted due to scrapes from a tree

https://albany.craigslist.org/cto/d/...810941532.html

And then there's this one... If only BMW felt the need to outfit an e91 like this from the factory.
2006 S4 Avant/MT/4.2 V8/Quattro.
If I was looking, I'd give this one a real hard look.

A modified B7 S4 with high miles, how could one possibly go wrong with that used purchase?

Metal shavings in coolant and oil. I wonder how that happens in both and what the cause of the metal was? Sorry to hear that’s how it ended.

I questioned this as well. CarMax wouldnt give me much info, and they didnt seem interested in fixing the issue. They jump straight to replacing the engine with a used one done at an independent facility, which I wasn’t comfortable with. I took the full refund and walked. Hopefully someone finds this gem and keeps it going.

The space grey with saddle interior looks great.

Question - did any E91 come white exterior with saddle brown interior?
