I don't mind it but I already lived through the C6Z to C7Z transition, lol.

Oh nice. That’s legit. I’m pumped to see one lowered with some sick wheels. Quite the wheel gap stock. The one my buddy rented had lambo style doors. Actually fit the car pretty well. Seems kinda cheesy but the car pulled it off I think

If Ciocca only gets 30 allocations again next month, and GM sticks with allocations every 3 months, I'll be waiting till fall 2024 to place my order. Don't know that I am going to wait that long...

As soon as they get closer to MSRP on the secondary market people will start dropping off lists left and right. E-ray will accelerate that. ZR1 anticipation will accelerate that. Major drops in markets of comparable cars (458/GT3/etc) will also accelerate that. It won't take as long as people think. I'm still sticking with my prediction that MSRP cars will be readily available within 18 months.

[QUOTE="Donatello.;29757989"]& we still have no other times for the car. No ring time, no real road course times from a big name track, etc.
GM clearly knows it is not as fast as they wanted/thought. Super car? ha not until we have real #s beyond a figure 8 How about VIR? Does that qualify as a big name track.? The Z06 was easily the fastest at this year's Car and Drivers Lightning lap, and placed 5th fastest overall on the all time leaderboard. Cars like the Senna, 765LT, gt2rs weissach and AMG black series were the only cars faster on a lap. Surprising to see no BMWs on the top 20 list. I'll say it again, supercar it is, and the lap times are nothing to yawn at. |

About as fast as a 765LT and faster than a 720S? And a GT3RS?
Yeah, it's a supercar lol. People have to accept this already.

I love it when people compare lap times as if they'll ever be 1/4 as fast as the pro driver behind the wheel. WHO CARES? The vast majority of the owners are old and retired and will drive them 1000 miles a year to their local church car show. Yawn.

It shows the car’s capabilities as it evolved over the years.
This is big news for gm. None of the previous corvettes have ever made it to supercar status. Now it is. Let’s see what the lightning lap actually is time wise.

Also, Corvettes will never be super cars. Super car killers in the performance dept? Yes, that is nothing new. |
