CAN coding and DME flashing are totally different things, they don't affect each other. **sarcasim** But if you CAN code your windows to roll up via the comfort access button on your door handle your engine will run lean and blow up. **sarcasim off**

+1 to this. I have the coding done on mine and have reflashed with no adverse affects, other than my car blowing up. But it didn't run lean.

Thanks for the response

You'll have to excuse my ignorance on CAN coding vs DME flashing... Not all of us have the time to research the differences.

v203 mapping should be available on all ROMs within the next few weeks.

It's actually a fair question. I asked the same questions before having it done to my car. ProfanityPete (member of this forum) coded my car for me and explained how the codes and the tunes are in different "areas".

Thanks Alan... and I wanted to give you a huge for all of the service you have provided! I bought the Cobb AP from you, then the AR 3" catless DP's, and finally the KW V1 coilovers all within like the last 4-5 weeks! I have everything installed and I am loving the car. I took her in yesterday and got a new set of RE-11's put on and then a semi-track alignment done. Can't wait to return to autocross this Sunday to see how it improved from last month Alan is the bomb

Zeph

P.S. I want the stage 2 beta map!!! My car would be a perfect cadidate for testing. I also have the AMS FMIC, Synapse BOV w/ charge pipe, and MS "stage 1 intake". Hook me up Cobb...

It's also fair to note that you'll stand to lose your custom coding, Cobb tune AND handheld functionality if you leave the AP "paired" to the car while the dealer performs a DME/code update.

Be sure to note the coding changes (from the VO) and have the AP uninstalled anytime you visit the dealer, especially if the car is due for a major service or hasn't been in for a visit in over a year.

Believe it or not, my dealer updated all the modules in my 2010 E92 over a freaking burned out reverse bulb. Apparently they couldn't completely clear the bulb error code in the FRM and my car was several revisions behind the latest at the time. Now I'm sure to ask my service adviser anytime I bring the car in.

I bought the COBB AP along with an AFe drop in filter. When using Stage 1 maps whether it be 93 or 91 octane, the notes say "Stock Intake".
Should I remove the drop in filter? I'm getting a hesitation upon hard throttle from a stop right after the change from 1st to 2nd on an AT in "D" mode. Just trying to rule out if it's my filter.

It should not be the aFe filter that is causing the issue. Have you tried using the 91 octane map to see if you get this same feeling as well?

I'm curious to see any 335 dyno charts and/or 1/4 mile slips that only have stage 1 AP or maybe DCI or CAI with it.

Yes, I saw the charts on Cobb's site & no I am not doubting Cobb. Just want to see some forum member dyno charts/slips.

I have fmic, dps and dci. But both stock and stage one tune were done with the same hardware on the same day.

Totally stock + Stage 1 on an xi, though intake valves are probably carboned up at 40k miles:

There a few members who have made posts with slips. I think there is even an official slip thread. Gotta search though. I'm too lazy

The wavy part of the graph looks weird.

Also, you seem to be getting really lean in the higher rpms.
