Yes, not very comfortable honestly.

Today I tried to lower the race fuel mixture to about 97 AKI to see if AFR would be a bit better.

Now im seeing some better AFRs, I think its the limit of the F platform on EWG, these are very close to what Darkhold is running; 12.6-12.7 towards redline. timing is a bit worst, might reduce boost a bit to increase AVG Ign and might even get a bit better AFRs.

here is the log:

We are getting very close with the N55 PURE Stage 2. We should have this on a car and testing within 1-2 months.

Thanks

If my local tuner cant map early january i head to germany where they can map the car. Its just a bit more hassle. I still have hopes on a local tune though.

When its done i will post logs and dyno etc no worries

Going to be behind the RB stage 2... It sounds like they will have one finished in a few weeks and trying to line up a test car now.

I think the release date will be close on both. Exciting times ahead. Cant wait to see results of both! And of course hope that the pure outperforms the other 2!
I am sure Jesse knows his stuff and gets us over 500whp

RB is coming out with a custom inlet as they said that will be a restriction. I haven't heard anything about that from Pure, but they haven't given much details lately so they may have something similar in the works.

We built a custom inlet pipe months ago. "Newguy123" has our test unit. We don't post every little move we make like others do. The stage 2 will most definitely require our inlet pipe.

Yes, we've been talking with RB. Their setup will be quite different than ours. Both will be a good option for these cars. We are hoping to make the most power, but we will see!

Lots of good stuff coming for the N55 finally!

Shea had told me that and he had issues at the last dyno day due to his DCT and not having a flash. Now that he was able to flash, i wonder if he ever got around to installing the inlet.

Do you guys see any gains from the stage1 with your inlet upgrade? Has it been productionized yet and/or is for sale?

Thanks for the updates! You guys rock. I'll be sticking with PURE FTW!

Just spoke with Shea and he does have the inlet pipe on. I don't think he's had a dyno done to see any delta for the upgraded inlet but he said "it definitely hits harder" on the butt dyno.

Darkhold, have you managed to log the AFR after your LPFP upgrade?

with these new options for bigger turbos, I dont see any use for F series when the oem fueling cant keep up.......

My fuelling is fine. I installed the lpfp upgrade to prepare for stage2.

Afrs were good before lpfp and also after lpfp upgrade. I can post a recent log tomorrow.

I am not sure what you are referring to in regards to F series? The new ewg cars might be different from the pneumatic ones.

Ya, I was able to flash his car which stopped the DCT from slipping (Cobb SoCal couldn't even flash it). Like you said, this was after it was slipping on the dyno. So we didn't get any real before/after results for the inlet pipe. We haven't revisited because we are elbow deep in Stage 2 development for multiple platforms.

Knowing how small the inlet pipe chokes down to on the inside diameter, I wouldn't be surprised if it opened up some power on the Stage 1 as well.

If anyone wants to buy an inlet pipe to play with, shoot us a PM.

Thanks
