Hmm maybe old habits....

I have a habit of tapping the shifter back in forth in neutral from time to time. Just a habit of mine from when i started driving.

hahah

Leaving it in gear when coming to a stop would suck.

For the longest time I had the habit of leaving my left foot slightly on top of the clutch pedal (except on freeways) when I'm not pressing it.

Coffee ruined my life. I can't go anywhere or do anything unless I have a cup in the morning.

haha i still do that with the clutch too. I mean moving your foot back and forth from the dead pedal is too much work for me. Especially on the street. I just leave it there.

I recommend you try it. Maybe not between first and second, but for every gear there after. The process becomes natural in a matter of days. The leverage really helps when you are pushing the car throught the twisties.

hmm i'll try it out sometime. In the canyons i do have my left on the dead pedal, especially around turns. It helps to keep me planted in the seat!
