If so, you may wish to blow off some of the sand that accumulates there. Mine was easy. I had used a few long socket extensions to bring my wrench above the engine. |

Anybody know where to source a good kit with both male and female torx bits that I will need?
I was in Harbor Freight the other day and they had a kit with 1/4 and 3/8 drive male torx bits, but no female bits. I have some Wiha T-handle torx drivers that I really like, but t27 is the biggest I have and I figure they won't fit where I need them to anyway. I got them for working on my chainsaws. http://www.wihatools.com/300seri/364serie.htm Last edited by nuclearbeef; 08-08-2014 at 02:37 PM.. |

The controller uses Exhaust Gas Temperature to control the water/methanol injection?

I believe you do need those items plugged in and the maps are just set to not use them.

I ran that wire to just outside the DDE box and capped both ends. If I go the DPF delete route then I will probably tap+install a probe just to see.

It would just inject more based on higher exhaust temps under extreme load, using it would be bennificial even before dpf delete |

Hmm.. Wouldn't using it during a regen basically prolong/interrupt the cycle?
