Hello folks,
First post to say that I've just ordered an E93 330d Auto M Sport Convertible in Le Mans Blue with Black Dakota leather. Other options include: 19" double spoke M light−alloy wheels Wind deflector (do people actually use this?) Heated front seats (couldn't be without a warm bum) Professional Navigation (how much???) BMW ConnectedDrive−Assist and Online (not sure what this does) Voice Control ( I already shout at cars) Bluetooth phone prep (I bet it won't work my 3G iPhone) USB interface Can't wait. Roll on September 1st. cheers Rob BTW: The username comes from my other car - a Land Rover Discovery 3 |

Thanks. Yes - I chose the convertible to complement the Disco3.
Disco3 = Hauling family, 3 weimaraners, mountainbikes, ski stuff etc. Plus regular offroading in Peaks, Lakes, Wales etc 330d Conv = low-luggage cruising, pleasure, and just trundling around feeling cool. regs rob |

320d M sport Edition
Hi Guys,
Ordered my new 320d M sport Edition a few weeks back: TiAg with Grey Dakota Leather Pro Media Pack Full PCD Folding/Dimming mirrors Heated Seats Visibility Pack USB Sun protection glass E192 M wheels - NOT THE EDITION 18's Delivery for 1st December so counting the days!!!! I'm new to the whole BMW scene so can anyone give me a few pointers as to where/If I can get the car chipped? I hear the 177 BHP is proving hard to remap? Also, any advise on picking up a black grill and shadow line rear lights would be massively appreciated. Thansk guys |

Welcome Whitey, so when is your car being delivered?
If you do a search on mapping you will find the info you are after. However I do know that Simon (emaps) now does the 320D (177) http://www.e-maps.co.uk/products/BMW...ies+%28e90%29/ Black grills here: http://www.ssdd-motorsport.com/show_...hp?prod_id=351 http://www.ssdd-motorsport.com/show_...hp?prod_id=438 Shadow line rear lights you can get on the bay. |

Hi Noobie/Lurker
After 4 years with the S3 (hence uname), decided on a bit more comfort and power which retaining the ability to carry lots of crap around. Hence a 57 335d M Sport Touring has a deposit on it. Although it's about 8 hours drive from me at the mo! Just discovered the USB retrofit will become available next year for the Professional Nav/audio system, so after a wee hesitation this morning about completing the deal without the 6FL / USB option, this news has sealed the deal. I'll be getting the car at the end of the month when the S3 gets chopped. Plan will be to remap it when i get it back home. Just need to figure out somewhere near Glasgow who will re-remap it if BMW wipe the map during servicing. 12 days and counting! |

Welcome newbs!
My advice to you is to ditch your runflats ASAP and get yourself some 'regular' tires (I recommend Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's). Handling, comfort and noise are all totally transformed. This is the car the 3 series should have been had BMW not been too tight to supply a space saver spare...
