I still have to install the manifold with Vaico DISA valves.
Keep us posted on how the Vaico performs long-term. I've heard mixed results. It'd be good to have more data about a reliable, lower-cost model.

Regarding the mafless tune and cruise control operation. My cc works perfectly fine when my transfer case actuator isn't lighting up a Christmas tree so it at least works on an 07/12 328xi with that flash

My cruise control works with no problem on msv80 with the nomaf tune. Not sure if thats normal but I never questioned why it worked.

I think it's possible that it's really a coding issue. I have looked all over the tune and there's no changes to cruise control.

I'm trying to get the GM trans tune and can't seem to fill out the Bimmerlabs form correctly. Is it still available? Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Next week I should be able to get the intake manifold installed.

The tune is available when you change your ecu from whatever it is to gm1912 should show up unless it's not available for certain cars

My cruise didn't work when I bought this car with a transfer case actuator problem. Replaced the stripped worm gear and the cruise worked.

I've replaced that actuator with units I've put together out of good junkyard parts and sometimes it works sometimes it throws the Christmas tree so I usually don't get to try the cruise control. No gears were stripped in mine and motor works

Good luck

How do I replace DME with TCU? I think that is why I can't access the tune.

It should let you change the dme from say msv80 to gm1912 if you touch the dme part in the project page

I finally figured it out. I was selection it but not confirming it on the tab to the right.
It came up with 2 stock tunes for 330 gm trans flash.
Now I have to figure out which one to use.
It says there are 4 downloads available but I can only find 2.
Thanks for your help William ☺️

The stock tunes are just stock. They're not going to do anything. If you have an N51, I don't have anything posted for it yet.

It's an 2007 328XI with a N52. There are 2 330 stock GM trans tunes available but I don't know which one to use and what the difference is between them. I already did the DME flash for IM3. I'm going to install the manifold this week. So I want to flash the GM trans too.

It would be the same as your current flash. The only reason to flash a stock tune is to go back to stock. So the answer right now is, don't flash any of them.

This has gotten confusing. I am trying to figure out which flash to use for the GM trans not the DME. When I enter all of the information it gives 2 GM trans files. I just didn't know what the difference is between the two and which one to use.

Yeah never mind I remember the trans file got pulled because it wasn't working on some peoples transmissions, if it's indeed cars with paddle shifters idk but mine has them and it worked fine to flash. Doesn't show up anymore, I might have the file laying around the pc but then who knows you flash it and your transmission is stuck in park it's gonna be my fault lol

Those are stock files if you were to flash the car back to stock. The transmission files aren't available in the website as of now it seems, it's this rar file.
