Yep, that's me on Indycarz. I've used "FMOS Racing" on many forums over the past... my god, is it really almost 20 years? The name is kind of an honor, kind of a joke since it stands for "Fix My Own Sh!t" and was assigned to me by some friends at a race event a long time ago.
I went out last night. It was stupid busy with the big event this week, but the kid hauler went 12.60s. I think it has a .50 in it if I can get the short end stuff just right. |

I installed the JB4 today and I'm loving it. I'm really happy with the AWD now. I'm planning to get it out to Fathouses's dyno and LRP in the near future to see where I'm at. BTW - I'm ch0wn on Indycarz. |

Are you guys talking about the Dyno Day at Fathouse's shop on May 31st? If so, I may swing by, though I'll probably be in the pickup truck instead of the car. It'll depend on whether or not I have my daughter with me.
I've been wondering about that JB4 install. I told the wife about your car (stick X) and she said, "Were you jealous?" |

My car is at the dealer right now getting valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket, and high pressure fuel pump replaced. They ran out of loaner cars, so Enterprise hooked it up with a Grand Caravan! I know you are all jealous of that thing!
My JB4 will be here next wednesday, along with the DCI. English Racing chargepipe and forge BOV have been sitting around waiting to be installed since I got the car. |

I had that choking, come to jesus moment when my waterpump went out. I called the dealership from the side of the interstate to find out what it was going to cost and they quoted me $1700. That wasn't a happy moment (this was at 75K miles).
I limped the car home and ordered the waterpump and thermostat online. 4 hours of my time later, all was better, saved over $1000. If any of you guys ever need space to wrench, I have a 1200 sq ft detached with compressed air and a decent toolbox. It's kind of a muddled mess right now, but it should be sorted out in the next couple of weeks. I dynoed the M at Fathouses' yesterday. 378.19 STD bone stock. House said there was virtually no difference on the SAE correction because of the perfect weather yesterday. So, the kid hauler is pretty strong for a stocker. By the way, I have a 5" ETS intercooler for the N54 for sale. It's brand new, I only removed it from the box to photograph it. I'm asking $680 for it in the classifieds, but that's negotiable. It's $744 from the vendor. Last edited by FMOSRacing; 05-05-2014 at 08:34 AM.. Reason: Space to WRENCH, not space to RENT. |

Anyone go to the track this week?
I've got a busy weekend, so I don't know if I'll have time to install the new mods or not. How long did it take you guys to install JB4, dci, chargepipe and bov? I don't have a garage, and only basic hand tools. Will I have any problems? |

Nick, did you get your stuff installed?
I was at IRP last Wednesday, and one of the other ICers brought his wife's 335 sedan. If it's not raining I'll be there tomorrow, but I'm not sure which vehicle I'll bring. |

Plans to do it on Monday.
Then go to the track on Wednesday if everything goes as planned. I can't wait to put a little e85 in there and have some fun. I need to get my tires changed out back to the runflats, as I'm still riding on michelin x-ice. |

@NickBlaine Post your numbers if you make it out next Wednesday.
Seems like May and June are always the two busiest months for me. Looking like I won't make it to the dyno or track till end of June. |

Doesn't look like tonight will be a track night due to the weather. If, by some miracle, the track is open, I'll be there spectating. Look for the red Gen 1 Lightning, currently without a hood, sporting the "FMOS Racing" logo on the back glass.
