If your build date is before 03/07 and u don't have paddle shifters it wont work.

Ugh, hopefully someone puts together a decent updated "how to" on this if it's able to be simplified, or I find someone vaguely near Cincinnati who can hook me up lol.
I'm plenty capable with the tech side, but wouldn't try this myself until I see all the details shake out to make sure I don't screw something up. Haven't jumped into coding really and am always afraid I'm reading an out of date thread on a topic. |

I had a Level 10 high stall trq converter installed at Level 10 in NJ on my supercharged e46 330ci. Never again!!!! Within less than 6 months tranny died. Had European Performance install a manual tranny after that and life was good! Just sharing my experience

My build date is 8/06 (e92 335i 6AT) but I do have the paddle shifters. (Sports package) Will this flash work for me? I hope this isn't like the factory oil cooler where the early models got screwed.

Just got home after a 400 mile round trip to Wedge1967's house. The flash is worth every mile. It's amazing the difference just a software change can do. The transmission no longer feels like its fighting to handle the power or respond to commands. Driving at 70 in "D6" two quick pushes on the paddle and it jumps to M4 with no downshift lunge, floor it and pull the paddles at the rpm you want the shift at, not having to try to anticipate for the slop in the response is amazing! D is super smooth in traffic to top it off. It'll be great to figure out the full impact of this flash here in the future.
I have to say thanks to everyone involved in getting this to the community in ridiculous time! Specifically Wedge1967 ( I texted him last night and had the flash tonight) and the hard work Steve put into figuring out the details. This is clearly huge for the 6AT community! |

i want my car back I'm missing out on all the good stuff...i wanna see some one with RBs or bigger turbos report back....or maybe even a FTTEC single wit an AT trans. god.. I'm probably gonna skip school tomorrow nd pull the trans out of the damn car.
