ASW is my 'thing' professionally, and I could bore you for hours with tales of derring do

IMHO it follows that when you train against the best submariners in the world, as we do (they're ours BTW), you become the best at ASW.....

have you retired then? would have thought that kind of job would require you to be away from home for weeks at a time, or even months. Or does the Sub have wireless

Carlos, I have not retired. No wireless we trail a 10,000 mile phone cable behind us, does tend to get a bit tangled though. Next question....

I work as Divisional Director for the Management Consultancy arm of a not so well known but fairly large professional services company.

Most of the organisation is in design engineering and asset management (for example we run the M25, for our sins), but my team focuses on Local Government consultancy.

Software type, pretty much done everything from real time miltary stuff through commercial software and even a brief stint in the web world, doing most things from coding to project management, pre-sales through to endless bidding. Just call me a software whore, I've done / will do anything.

Right now I'm the main technical person for a startup company in the biometrics sphere.
