Just got my 335i back from VTL this afternoon and happy to report the below;
-Improved idle and less of a stumble (yet to replace coils & plugs sure this will take care of that) -Improved pull between 2.5k to 5k -Very professional & knowledgeable on the n54 engines Thanks again Vince pleasure to have met you and keep up the good work dude! Will be back for sure ☺ Before and after pics, e90 335i 2006 156k |

Good meeting RacePace and walnut blasting his car. Looked like pretty light buildup for 156k.
Looked like the car had been worked on by some monkey who had no idea what they were doing. They had put silicone rtv gasket on the intake manifold! On top of the rubber gaskets no less. A lot of crap stuck on the cylinder head which needed to be cleaned off.luckily new rubber gaskets were to be installed anyway. Always have to be careful who you trust to work on your car.

Did a walnut blast for Rdany who had just recently purchased a e90 335i. Came to me in the morning on 5cylinders with a dead coilpack, I had a spare and easily fixed.
Definitely make sure you put in new coils and plugs before putting a tune on the car! His car had over 150k kms on it and the build up was quite significant, but not as bad as youd think for the kms.

Yet another new owner BM335 with an E90 335i.
Was around 120k kms with a walnut blast done previously at some point. The buildup didnt look too bad

As a new owner the walnut blast was first on my list to do along with the plugs and coils. The coding stuff is also great, no more clicking Accept on iDrive (so annoying before) and km/h digital display on the dash is awesome. |

Just out of curiosity, what's the average walnut media consumption per job?
Only asking because the bag at work has never been replaced in the past 4 years. But it's not a daily thing we do. We mainly use it on the N57 engines actually |

I use around 3-4kg depending on the amount of buildup on the car

Did Kalsharith 's car last weekend, also swapped out the oil filter housing gasket since hte intake manifold was off. The buildup didn't seem to bad considering the kms, looks like it may have been done in the past.
Forgot to do after pics for this one

Forgot to put these pics up, but did TIRA 's car a while back, and probably the worst carbon buildup ive ever seen @ 120k kms
Bascially the back of the intake port behind the valve is filled up with carbon. Was very inconsistent with the cylinders too, some of them looked fairly normal and 2 cylinders the valves were very clogged up.
