Good to hear it worked for you! Have you added the small DISA yet? It improves things further at lower RPM.
Yep, I never quite figured out how to flash the gearbox with WinKFP, because I ended up using ISTA-P instead. It's probably possible, but would have to find the right ZB#. I kind of hate my GM gearbox. I changed fluid/filter and reset adaptations ~3000km ago, but it's started to shudder again recently when under heavy load. Might just end up finding a 2010/2011 ZF box and swapping that in. |

How many kilometers has your car been used so far? Because the gearbox also has a service life, my ZF transmission system was rebuilt at 130,000 kilometers. The number of kilometers used may not be related to the gearbox loss, but it is certain that the gearbox will wear out. If I am You, I will decide whether to change to a second-hand ZF system, I think ZF should be available at a cheap price now.

I reckon a used ZF is the way to go, especially because they can be tuned unlike the GM. Had a look on RealOEM - apparently 323i and 325i from 09/2010 and onwards went back to the ZF 6HP19Z. |

Guys check this: I am very worried about this question... BMW info about the 323i engine (picture), although it is the same as the 325i 2500cc, but looking at the engine block part, one (low compression engine) is only used for the 323i, and the above two (413/412) It can also be used in 323/325, do I need to worry after the upgrade? If 323i are all (11110422965)........

(S858A), I'm just not sure if it is really equipped with this (low compression engine) because (11112334413 OR 11112334412) should also be used in 323i, or is this just unnecessary worry? Then I checked again I think should go to BMW info Engine-Short Engine to look at the entire engine, instead of looking at the Engine block option, so that one thing can be found, even if the Short Engine has the (S858A) Low compression engine, there is still an application. In Z4-2.5.

Your engine type is stamped on the block and there is also a white sticker on the front of the cylinder head as well, so you could check that if that will give you peace. Mine says N52B25AE. The sticker is on the front of the cylinder head below the camshaft sensors (may be covered in dirt) and it is stamped on the left side of the block, in the middle of the engine under the intake manifold. You can see it if you look between the manifold runners. |

Yes, I worry too much, mine is the same as yours N52B25AE, but this (low compression engine) does not know which 323i engine is used.

Just after I completed the 323i upgrade, my friend's E60-523i was also upgraded, thank you very much for the assistance of rjahl, the final version of Z4 is really great.

New to the forums but took a read thru all of this amazing forum you guys have going on! It’s a shame I don’t know more about tuning but I’d love to try to install another Disa on my Canadian 2006 323i! Anyways it was a pleasure reading through this forum I learnt quite a lot! |
