I'm curious if I will run into the same predicament as you. I have the 6AT (just got it in fact). I drive manuals in my other cars and decided to get a 6AT so others can drive it if they want plus turbo + 6AT is a good combo. It's definately not as fun as a manual...

How long did it take for you to realize the 6AT isn't for you?

as soon as i returned my leased G35 6MT... well not really, coz 6AT is fast as hell right, so it was fine... until i asked to drive someone's car, then i got that epiphany that i have to get 6mt

but since the beginning, like since day 1 i knew i was going to hate it, even before i bought the car.
and i told people that i am probably happy with a 6MT Honday Civic Si more than 6AT any car.
