Is that part compatible with non-active steering cars?

I have a 2009 e90 LCI with the VRSF inlets and I hate that the reservoir is mounted above the alternator. Sometimes I see the PS reservoir overflow, and I am concerned with that fluid leaking down onto the alternator coils

Reservoir from active steering will not help reservoir overflow. So fix that first.

Everything is done except for the Nitrous. I have a few hours worth of work to finish all of the Nitrous and Fuel lines and my builder is going to wire everything and tune it.

Should be around 700whp and 700wtq on the bottle.

I might add an E85 Z4M to the collection next year if I can find one that I like. I will always be a huge fan of Bimmers.

Amen brother, wish the forums omitted them by default but gave you an option to select the picture(s) you wanted to specifically reference. I always feel like a dick asking people to remove their "irrelevant" picture quotes in my build threads but my intent is to keep the content organized and easy for others to view and navigate.

Thanks man.

I've been on the hunt for black filters for some time now.... Can't find them in the right dimensions, as the height and width are pretty important for them to fit.

Got any ideas?

But at the same time what's wrong with the blue... close to BMW blue and very appealing. That's a gorgeous engine bay either way!

No, not really. Painting them or something like that would likely be counter productive for performance. I am unfamiliar with your filter size and the filter world in general so I can't be much help there sorry.

Maybe just drive your cat really hard all the time so the filters get dirty quick and darken that way...

I work at an auto zone warehouse and occasionally handled black cone filters by spectre and they always caught my eye each time I saw them.. I'm not sure what size they came in, some of those have a stepped inlet for different pipe sizes.

potentially rit dye... I'd be concerned whether or not they would end up the level of darkness desired - very unlikely
